You misunderstood me. My message was that if they can get out of a sinking rut, so can you.

When people see the good where you can't find it, you're not pathetic, you're just lost.

If you can't help yourself then its not wrong to have someone help you pick yourself up. Pride or incompetence aside no one gets through everything alone and certainly not without help whether that help is a person or your decision to take advantage of something.

I'm a grown adult that lives with his mom and failed out of college. I had incompetence problems everyday and now I spend most of my time playing videogames. I used to spend time beating myself up for being useless to everyone I know and loved.

But I'm tired of being that person. Now I just get up and walk to every place asking for job openings and applying places because I want to support my family and most importantly feel good about my own ability. It's really hard, but do...
