I know I am in a minority, but I don't like the 4th of July. Just seems pointless to me. Could be because I don't like the whole of the US at this point and wouild prefer Indiana seceding from it, but again, I'm a definite minority on that.
I've never seen the reason to celebrate so it's just another day. Plus, fireworks are works are loud and obnoxious. I always get startled by fireworks. My annoying neighbors always go crazy with them.
