    "I guess I'll take next watch" Autumn managed to get a little bit of sleep before he woke to relieve Strong Hooves. As he kept lookout, all he could think about was It's all my fault. Jet would still be alive if I hadn't gotten everyone to leave the stable.

    Still, he could have told Jettson and comforted him to ease his passing. To just shoot him like that, it's almost like saying, "Thanks for everything, but you're useless to me now. Time to throw your life away like trash." It's just so cold and heartless. As usual, Autumn kept to himself, not wanting to start an argument.

    (Sorry for dropping out for a couple of hours. I was watching a movie. My first time seeing Silence of the Lambs) Autumn bowed his head for Jettson and said a quick prayer, asking the Goddesses to grant him happiness in the afterlife. After that, he sat down and began treating his leg. He managed to remove the bullet and rewrap the wound. Now is a good time to look at that medical text I brought. Bringing it up on his Pipbuck, he found a few spells that looked promising, if he could do them right. I should get Melody to help me learn these. I don't want to try to seal a wound and end up growing a tumor.

    (We should probably meet up with your new character latter, either on the road or in a town or something.) Autumn heard an explosion, and finally made it back to the group. He saw Strong Hooves looking down at a body. What's going on? Then he saw the body. "Oh goddess." (This happened before Strong Hooves went berserk)

    Autumn was still pinned behind his cover from the same injured raider that had shot him. No matter what he did, he couldn't get out to fire at him. That was when he realized, Wait, that's an earth pony. He probably wouldn't expect magic. Autumn quietly levitated his pistol above the roof of the building he was using for cover, and shot the raider from above.

    Autumn quickly brought out his own shotgun and ran for cover as quickly as he could. He also levitated his pistol out, aiming them at different targets. Maybe being good at basic levitation can have its advantages. Now if only I knew how to aim. He managed to wound one raider by shooting him in the leg. Unfortunatly, he could still fire. Autumn was shot in the flank as he dove for cover. Damn! He quickly bandaged himself and reloaded. I need to get the bullet out before I use a health potion on it.

    Autumn quietly walked along with the rest of the group. He raised his E.F.S. to check for enemies, and kept a careful eye on his surroundings.

    My guess is an illness, like the flu. She can't outfly germs. That or something minor, like a sprain.

    Somepony I'm starting to see more often on the site. Pretty nice, and has an awesome avatar. Sorry. I ninja'd Rose, but it still works for me.

    Something like I didn't learn anything. What I was saying before was right. Hard work and integrity pay off in the end. Trust your friends and yourself. Something like that. I need to see it again before I have it memorized.

    Good points. A good example of technology, but I don't think they have automobiles yet. (maybe soon, but not yet invented. They still use carriages.) Also the prefix (or suffix) cent means 100. As in 100 cents in a dollar. Also percent, as in 100 parts of a whole, and 20% is 20/100 or 1/5th of the whole.

    Besides, wouldn't Pinkie Pie get wasted drinking all that cider if it was alcoholic?

    I just knew this would be a John Henry story. Only this time, the John Henry character lost, but won because of honest, hard work. Oh yah. I forgot about "I didn't put those in my bag."

    But this is at least the third time Bon Bon talked. Why can't Doctor Whooves make hourglasses when he's not time traveling? He needs to support Derpy and the kids after all.

    (Ditto. You seemed like a pro. But I get several impressions of you. I don't know how many times you change your avatar and name. I kept wondering who this Rose person is and why they post so much. Then I thought, "Rose posts as much as Finest. Wait a second...") Ninja'd Nice to meet you.

    "We have to get closer somehow. Maybe I should distract them while I use my shield spell, and maybe an illusion while I'm at it, while somepony else sneaks up on them?"

    "Not long, and it isn't very strong. I know how to use every spell I've read about, but I'm only good at Telekinesis."

    Equestria. My home would be a huge library with access to every book, movie, song, video game, and work of art for me to enjoy. I could go flying when I wanted, go swimming, explore the Everfree for an adventure, and hang out with friends. That is my idea of paradise. Oh, and chocolate chip cookies.

    "Damn. I wish I was actually good at a spell or two." he said raising his shield again. "I'm useless." He finished dressing Melody's wound. "Do we have any painkillers left?" (Time for bed. See you tomorrow morning.)

    "On it!" Autumn quickly ran over, casting a weak shield spell on himself. It shattered after one hit, but it managed to deflect the bullet enough that it only grazed his side. He knelt by Melody and started rummaging though the first aid supplies.

    Sorry, but no. I love Doctor Whooves stories and pictures (even though I have only seen a season and a half of Doctor Who), but it just wouldn't fit. Let us just keep imagining he is The Doctor living in Equestria.
