"Well, that didn't-" In a flash, he was surrounded by other ponies, in the city of beginnings. "-work." A forced teleport. That wasn't often used in video games. He looked around, and saw Zephyr, quickly going towards him. "Do you have any idea on what is going on?"

@@Miss Reaper, "I'm a madpony, not an idiot." He looked up at the alicorn. "As much as I enjoy the night, I know that everlasting night would kill us all. And I'd hate for me to be dead." Demence grinned. She was easily angered. So much so that it was fun. He wondered what had made her that way, before remembering the mention of Discord, which simply made is grin widen.

@, Mao felt as he was attacked, punches hitting him from every side. He fell to the side a little, before bringing his chainsaw up once again. He quickly grabbed the pegasus around the neck before he could fly away, and pointed the chainsaw at him. "I give up. You win. I don't want to live in this world anymore." Mao stepped back, and pulled the chainsaw into his own neck, decapitating himself.

@, @@Scratched Disk, Sparkey saw two players chatting and quickly ran over to them. "Sorry, but do any of you have a log out button? I need to log out but I can't find it." He looked at the two player's names. Zephyr and Terra. He opened his menu again and looked through it, but still, there was no log out.

And I'm a monster pizza.

@, Mao launched his chainsaw towards the pegasus, then stumbled towards him. He could kill the pegasus without a weapon. He could just snap his neck or something. But he had to win. He had to pass the first round at least. At least then, he could feel accomplished. He continued towards Blue, not stopping for his wounded shoulder.

After slaying a few boars, Sparkey realized he had been cooking before logging in, and had left the oven on. He slid his hoof up, bringing up the menu, to find that there was no log out button. He searched through the options, and still found nothing. The log out button was gone. He was stuck in the game. And he lived alone, so no one could come and take the helmet off. Surely, when the devs realized the missing button, they would turn off the servers and force everyone offline... right? He imagined his perfectly good dinner, burning in the oven, and almost cried.

It's telling me I can't do that every time I click something on the forum and I'm all like D:

@, The blades hit Mao in his right shoulder, and he stumbled back in pain. "You bastard." He brought up his chainsaw, ignoring the burning pain in his shoulder, and attacked, swinging wildly at the pegasus. Blood trickled down his leg, as he brought down the chainsaw at Blue over and over, hoping that he would hit him.

@, Mao elbowed the pegasus that was hanging around his neck and attempted to knock him to the ground. He brought his chainsaw up, with an crazed smile, and brought it down, hoping it would hit Blue, kill him, and secure his role in the next round. He closed his eyes, so he couldn't see what happened next.

@, "But I was only fighting. It is the point of this 'game', is it not." Mao grinned. The stupid pegasus had lost it. There weren't any cheap tricks. He was simply fighting. Fighting to win. Because Mao couldn't bare to lose again. So he had to win. So he had to kill. He swung his chainsaw as the pegasus, aiming for the wings, and also ran towards him. He wasn't going to lose.

@@Miss Reaper, "Demence." This was an interesting turn of events. First he was walking through the Everfree Forest, and now he was face to face with the villain who brought the elements of harmony together. And she was being kind. Or, acting kind. That was debatable. "So, why hide in a mountain, when you could be taking over Equestria?"

@, Mao tripped as the pegasus collided with him, then used his magic to force the chainsaw towards Blue Hurricane. He had to win. He pushed himself off of the ground, and increased his magic power, tiring him faster, but also causing the chainsaw to move at a faster speed. Hopefully, it would hit him in the back of the head, ending this quickly. Mao also used this time to open his eyes, brushing the sand out of them.

OOC It's the year 2022, and a brand new Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Role-Playing Game (VRMMORPG) has been released for the NerveGear, titled Equestria Online. The NerveGear is a Virtual Reality helmet which stimulates the five senses via the users brain, allowing them to fully control and experience their in-game avatars. Equestria Online is the most advanced VRMMORPG to date, and is based around players making their way to the 100th floor of the floating castle, Canterlot. Each floor has a medieval-themed town, as well as a dungeon and a boss room, which needs to be defeated to move on to the next floor. 10,000 copies were sold, and you were lucky enough to get one of them. So now, you can dive into the world of Virtual Reality. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Sparkey looked over his shoulder at the NerveGear sitting on his bed. He had just bought Equestria Online, and was ready to perform a full dive. He placed the helmet on his head, and got into a comfortable position on the bed, before speaking the initiation words 'Link Start'. The startup sequence began, as the machine showed that all five senses were working. He logged in, and created his character. The words 'Welcome to Equestria Online' appeared and a new world appeared around him and became real. He was in a new world. He grinned, and trotted away. He had to start training if he planned to reach the top. He unsheathed his dagger. It was an interesting choice of weapon, which he had chosen for a challenge. He left the city. He had to learn to fight.

@@Miss Reaper, "The princess of the night, went missing quite some time ago. Who do I have to thank for your presence?" Demence grinned. No wonder the presence of power was so great. One of the sisters. Nightmare Moon. But, why had he been called to this mountain? What had happened to the other ponies? And why was somepony with such power hiding?

@, Mao once again used his chainsaw to catch the lightning, then got ready to roll out of the way of the incoming pegasus. This was a way of fighting that better suited Mao, though he would have preferred to be doing it with sight. Still, the pegasus's thoughts told him enough to find what he had to do.

@, Mao quickly used his magic to bring his chainsaw above his head, catching the lightning strike. "Come on. That's the best you can do?" He clapped his hooves together, and laughed. But still, Mao stood still, barely moving. If the pegasus was so easy to irritate, this battle would be simple and easy.

@, "Then it appears we have reached a stalemate." Mao was amused, to say the least. He was beginning to discover what kind of pony Blue was. "I doubt we're very entertaining to the crowd." Mao couldn't see them, but he imagined they would be very annoyed by the lack of fighting going down.

@, "I've done quite enough fighting. Go ahead. Free shot." Mao grinned, eyes closed. It was a dangerous game. If he wasn't fast enough to block when the pegasus attacked, he could be taken out in one shot. But he trusted himself. He had a power that could be used to beat Blue. But if he lost focus, he would be useless.

@, Mao grinned. He wasn't in a position to attack, so he had to defend himself. Which was fine. He closed his eyes. Blue's tactic was an interesting on, but a stupid one. He didn't need to see. He just needed to know. He made sure the chainsaw was hovering around him, and waited. If the pegasus didn't attack, they'd be at a stalemate.
