Once again, he spun the chainsaw around, trying to get one step ahead of the pegasus. It should be easy. Mao knew exactly what Blue was doing. But he was too fast. -

@, The stupid pegasus. He thought that was the extent of his power. At this point, Mao wished he would have brought a gun. He has good aim with a pistol. He threw the chainsaw again, upwards this time. Why would the pegasus not just attack? Mao used his magic to have the chainsaw spin around the pegasus, making sure not to touch him. -

@, Despite being aware of Blue's plan, Mao attacked. He used his magic, which had improved greatly since the first Dark Tournament, to spin his chainsaw, as well as force it forwards, in the direction of the pegasus. He focused on the pony in front of him, blocking out the thoughts of everypony else around him. He had to fight to win. -

Mao sat up. It was about time. He began to walk to the arena. Once again, Blue was mocking him. The stupid pegasus. Mao was looking forward to beating him. His chainsaw floated in front of him. Finally, he was going to be able to fight. And this time, he would win. -

@, "It won't be." Mao looked at the pegasus. His arrogance would be the death of him. "It won't be easy to defeat me. And if I'm going to be beaten by anyone, I'll make sure it isn't you." This was exactly what Mao needed. A reason to kill. If he became a fan favourite, his chances of winning this evil death game would be increased. He just had to take out this one pegasus. And, assuming he didn't have some kind of magical helmet, he shouldn't have a problem. -

"Doesn't make it any better." This was the first time that Mao had spoken up this whole time. "You really shouldn't hit kids, you know." He had taken an immediate disliking to this pegasus. Mao had done some questionable things in the past, but he regretted all of them. This pony either didn't care, or hid it extremely well. His thoughts were bitter. Just like the crowd. He was here to please them. He was despicable. -
