Like hell you are. I'm not a twig and neither are you.

  6. I'm not so afraid of losing something that I don't want it made in the first place. I know, right? But nah, his most notable role to date was Jack from LOST. Don't get me wrong, I like Emma Stone as much as the next guy but she seems almost too young to play Liara!

  9. I'm ready for Equestria Girls. It's written by Meghan McCarthy so it'll probably be pretty funny. I just have to wait until I get done with my shift at work.
  10. I beat it the day before yesterday and now I'm starting a play through on Survivor. Loved the organic feel to the story and the way it ended.
  11. And now we're grown up orphans that never knew their names We don't belong to no one, that's a shame

  12. Take no chances taking down a clicker. They will mess you up.

  13. Are you seriously trying to downplay the achievements of these three men just to prove a point? Here are some more I guess. Sir C.V. Raman, Indiant Physicist; 1930 Nobel Laureate in Physics Linus Pauling, American Quantum Chemist and Biochemist; 1954 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry and 1962 Nobel Laureate in Peace Srinivasa Ramanujan, Indian Mathematician Look, I get that essential nutrients can be found in meat but those can all be obtained from other sources as well. I checked out your link and couldn't think of a single thing. You couldn't even spell "analyst" right.
  14. Leonardo Da Vinci, Nikola Tesla, Albert Einstein Also, screw you. My brain is functions perfectly normally and I don't appreciate you insinuating vegetarians don't have properly developed minds.
  15. You're wrong. There are plenty of exceptions to this. You don't know what you're talking about. As somebody that gets his iron levels checked twice a week (I sell plasma) I can safely say you're wrong. Spinach contains lots of iron. So do beans and many other easily accessible food sources. If anything vegetarians need to be concerned about getting vitamin B-12, which I happen to get from cheese and eggs. We have no problem gaining muscle mass. Meat eaters can have the exact same problem. You're misinformed. I found exceptions to all of these and it was easy. I didn't even have to look because most of this is common knowledge. Your "facts" are not "facts". Vegetarians cut out the middle man to get our nutrition. If anything we're more efficient.
  16. Nah, smaller amounts can be kept on farms for eggs and dairy in humane conditions. At least in the scenario I'm talking about. Okay. I agree that humans have the potential to be omnivorous. That doesn't make me an omnivore though. Anyway, I just got off work and am starving. Time to make a make a fajita and then go hunting in the woods for Morel mushrooms!
  17. Not everybody would stop eating meat at once. They'd either be eaten by those that still want to or die of natural causes. But less and less would need to be bred each time, resulting in livestock being phased out. Semantics = The Study of Meaning. There is no point in arguing over interpretation of the word "omnivore". This isn't hard...
  18. Again, it's called phasing it out. You're making it sound like this is something that would happen overnight. Semantics. Will it away? I am a human being. I am not an omnivore. Therefore not all human beings are omnivores. Catch my drift? You mean after eating something that was in the meat he felt better. There is nothing we find in meat that we can't find in other sources.
  19. This is my favorite screenshot; from "May The Best Pet Win". Rainbow Dash has impeccable style and the owl clearly accentuates it.
  20. No. The whole point of this thread is to give reasons why people should consider going veggie. If you truly don't care, stop replying.
  21. I'm leading a fully and truly healthy life and I don't eat meat. Your simple "fact" is not in fact a fact. It is an opinion. The actual fact is you can lead a fully and truly healthy life without eating meat because I'm doing it right now. You say that not eating meat will make you miserable but I doubt you've never gone more than a week without. On the other hand I've experienced both situations and can say with certainty that this aspect of diet has nothing to do with happiness. Yeah... the Korean dog trade would like to have a word with you. I can't link directly to it because it's NSFW. Fish is meat. If you got rid of meat you'd have to get rid of fish. Sweet, somebody that's tried both diets. Was it hard at first to eat minimal amounts or was the food balanced enough that it didn't matter?
  22. I'm not asking everyone to stop eating meat all at once. Your view of the scenario is flawed from the start, but I'll address it anyway. You're thinking in the short term. This is like saying you continue to smoke because you haven't used up all of your cigarettes. Only in this case the cigarettes are constantly banging and making more cigarettes because you breed them in a controlled environment. We have a large amount of control over the number of animals bred. Don't act like we're doing the world a favor by keeping livestock. You're right, this scenario is far-fetched. It is also not my scenario. My scenario involves breeding less animals to begin with. This would slowly phase out the large number of livestock. This is a good point! Finally, something I had to pause and think about. Anyway, this sounds like a separate issue to me. You should make a new topic about it. Hey Circadian? Yeah Other Circadian? Are you an omnivore? Why no Circadian, I'm not. But you need to eat meat! Why no Circadian, I don't think I do. I feel and look much better than before and my doctor says I'm at a perfectly healthy weight. The consumption of meat is absolutely not necessary to survive. Sound like they were doing it wrong. Anybody that has health problems from being a veggie isn't eating the right things. I'll admit I initially lost a bunch of weight when I made switch, but I've since put back on what I lost. Now I'm sitting at just below where I was almost two years ago.
  23. Why was Star Swirl working on a spell that would change the Elements of Harmony in the first place? He wasn't even connected to them like Twilight and company. What happened when the spell didn't work for him?
