CODE LYOKO was entered automatically and the tower began whirring with energy.

"Hm?" Genesis noticed a button in front of Amber light up, flashing red. The large screen before them flashed "Return To The Past?".

Rick managed to reach out and grasp her wrist, he barely felt a pulse, and then again weaker and weaker still. "Oh no you don't."

 

He managed to roll prop himself up on hands and knees and crawl to her, "I just died to get you out of there, you don't get to bring me back then die yourself!" He put one hand on her chest were he was sure her heart would be and put his other heart over it as he did his best to remember what he had learned in health class and began the chest compressions. "Stay calm, stay awake, stay with us." He said hoping she could hear him as he prayed her heart would pick back up on the rhythm.

Whisper groaned, opening one eye and looking over at the desperate Rick. She couldn't move and it killed her to know her friend was dying.

 

Unnoticably, a small black mist had escaped from a small vent in the monitor. The eye of X.A.N.A faded when Tempest took control of the tower but he wanted to ensure he could always come back. The mist quickly and silently slipped into Meghan's mouth; travelling down to nestle in her failing heart. He wanted to teach her a lesson, not kill her. For now, he needed a safe place. With a small burst, he gave off enough electricity to get the heart pumping.

Meghan had her eyes closed so she didn't notice the boy or the mist going into her mouth. When her heart started to beat slowly back into a normal rhythm, she sucked in a breath and began coughing. Her coughing subsided and she managed to open her eyes, seeing the boy she saved earlier on top of her.

"You can stop giving me CPR now." Meghan whispered; her throat sore from screaming. She then noticed the boy doing compressions over where her heart would be. She raised her hand and held it over his own. "It's ... fine." Meghan said with a bit more confidence in her voice.

Seeing that she was okay and seemed to be strong enough Rick just sort of stammered, "I-uh yeah, okay." He blushed a little feeling a bit embarrassed that he had been continuing after she felt it was necessary... That's right in CPR you are supposed to occasionally stop and check their pulse again, he knew he couldn't remember all they had taught in that class.

 

He pulled away and just kind slumped into sitting cross-legged next to her, "you sure you're okay? You didn't look so good and your pulse was pretty bad." Though her color was returning and now she looked fine.

Genesis shrugged and smashed the button since Amber didn't, way too curious to not hit the thing.

 

The computer whirred loudly and suddenly a pulse of light engulfed everything. For a few moments, everything was quiet. In a moment it was over.

 

Genesis found herself outside; sitting on a boulder while lighting up. Something she had been doing before heading over to the party. She blinked rapidly, lowering the pipe she had to her red lips, staring at it as if she was tripping already.

 

Whisper gasped, opening her eyes. She was walking down the street again on her way to the school, about to meet Rush at the school gates. "Wha...?"

Rush had been in the middle of standing around like an idiot not really helping anyone when suddenly something happened he couldn't explain, and now he was back in front of the school. And there was Whisper right over there. Not one to overthink things, Rush decided to just go with it, walking up to Whisper and smiling.

"You said that before...didn't this happen Rush?" Whisper answered, face red with embarrassment. The second time hearing it was no less easy for her than the first. Whisper slipped her hand into his "We should find Meghan in case she's still hurt.

He nodded. "Yeah, yeah I think it did. I'd probably say it again anyway, though. No matter how many times I say it, beautiful is what you are, and I can't get that across enough. Anyway, do you know where Meghan would be right now? I don't really know her very well."

Rick was laying on a rather comfortable bed in the hotel room his parents had gotten for him until the school assigned dormitories, his xbox was hooked up to the tv and he was watching Netflix... On screen Ed dug under his disgusting bed while Double D and Eddy looked on in horror... The same show he had been watching before, the one that had made him late getting ready for the party. He just stared at the screen for a few minutes not comprehending what had happened, he had gone to the party, he had drank, smoked and then with a bunch of other kids they had broken into some secret computer room. Then down there the girl had gotten electrocuted and he had died to get her out but she had brought him back. That had all happened, he wasn't crazy.

 

He sat up and turned off the tv. Then Gathered his things, put on his nice clothes and head out toward the factory. He was going to get there early this time, he was going to set himself up in that elevator and not let anyone by. If he had just had a vision of the future or whatever it was, he was going to make it count.

Tempest was surprised when he found himself outside the academy. "Didn't this already happen?" He thought, before he realized what he had seen was real. "I have to be sure." With that, Tempest took off running towards the old factory. He knew that whatever answeres he sought would be found in there.

"No, I don't know her number but maybe she'll be at the factory?" Whisper offered.

Genesis stood by the shaft, looking at it strangely. Her presence was enough to deter many students away; always had been. She stuck her hands in her jacket pockets, deciding to lean next to the shaft. She knew if the same thing happened to everyone else, they'd all come here.

He nodded. "Even if she's not, that's probably where we'll find an explanation for whatever happened... or will happen... or would have happened... or however this whole thing works." He shook his head, trying to clear all the confusing thoughts that this possible time travel was causing.

Amber quickly figure out what had happened and put down her book, just to make sure she checked her phone to see her friend had sent her a message. She immediately pulled off her blanket and ran outside slipping past most of the people and going into the factory. She saw Genesis and walked up to her and rolled her eyes, "you really had too push that button, the only one that turns back time."

By the time Rick had gotten to the factory and the elevator the tough chick and munchkin girl were already next to it. He hadn't ran but more power walked all the way there, he was a little out a breath and held up a hand to them, "you two really don't want to go down there, it might sound crazy but I..." He realized how insane anything he said might sound, "... Forget it. Just believe me you don't want to go down there."

"Why? Because of the computer?" The tough chick answered dryly, shifting against the wall. She just looked at Amber;deciding to bite her tongue before she got into trouble. How the hell was she supposed to know what the bloody button did?

Amber turned around to face Rick, "So you are saying we shouldn't go down and check how we got sent back in time. Or go check out code Lyoko again? How would we know how we got back here, or how this building is still standing if we don't check out the thing that sent us back."

Tempest entered the factory and noticed the small group of people there. "Well, it seems as if that event actually happened." He said, as he made his way to the ground. "So, what are we going to do now?" The teen then leaned against the elevator door. "Of course, this'll probably cause some time paradox or something like that."

Rick stared at them for a few second speechless, jaw hanging open before finally recovering, "Okay, I'm not going crazy or seeing the future you two remember it too..." He let out a heavy sigh, "okay, good. I guess that's good. To answer your questions yes because of the computer, and yes we shouldn't. I died down there. D-I-E-D died, they got my heart going again but I was legally dead. Two other girls almost died too. What if going down there triggers everything again? What if everything goes crazy and everyone is in danger again? I really don't want to die again... It hurts, a lot."

Tempest shrugged. "Considering the fact that we just travelled back in time, we should be able to learn from our mistakes." He said. "We just have to be sure that no one is here tonight, for obvious reasons." The teen then sighed. "Look, I don't know about you three, but something isn't right, and I want answers." With that, Tempest hit the button that called the elevator up.

Meghan found herself walking with Dart and the crowd, heading into the factory. She gasped and quikly clenched her fist. "Sorry. Dart. I have to be somewhere." Meghan whispered to him and efore he could say anything else, she immediately peeled away from te crowd and ran quickly into the factory.

 

Dart was confused for a bit but he just shrugged and let her do her thing.

Meghan slowed down to a fast pace and headed towards the elevator. She breathed heavily a bit before calmijg down and waving to everyone.

Whisper arrived only moments after Meghan, Rush in tow. "Are you okay?!" she ran over to her friend; concerned more for her safety than what was downstairs.

 

Genesis sniffed, moving away from the elevator shaft as the cage came down. "I'm with the Brit, find out what that wonky thing does. And then maybe you two will tell us what the bloody hell happened in there!" she pointed to Tempest and Amber. "You. You need to relax or you're going to have another attack and die on the damn spot." pointing at Rick.

Amber gave a bit of a mysterious smile as the elevator opened, "well then boss why don't I tell you on the ride down..." Amber then walked into the elevator, leaned against the wall to the machine, and mumbled to herself, "why is it that I am the youngest here and I seem to be the only one with common sense..."

Meghan's heart thumped as she heard Whisper. She nodded and looked at her. "I'm ... fine." Meghan hesitated a bit. She actually didn't know if she was fine or not. "I think." Meghan added. She placed a hand over her heart and felt it beat regularly. She frowned as she tried to remember what happened in that computer room. "I don't really know ..." Meghan shook her head softly and looked at Whisper through the bangs that covered her face. She lifted a shaking finger and pointed over to the boy whom had helped save her. "He helped me after I helped him. I don't know his name."

Tempest nodded slightly, and entered the elevator. He then hit the down button, and leaned against the wall. "Wish us luck." The teen said before the door closed. He then sighed and sat on the ground, as the elevator went down. "What am I even looking for?" He thought to himself. "None of this even makes sense." He didn't know why, but Tempest couldn't get the picture of that eye out of his head.
