I'm not sure if this goes here or not (mods, please feel free to move it if it doesn't), but I was wondering:

 

Who here is into sports?

 

Personally, I love sports, mostly as a spectator.  (Too many injuries from my youth ).

 

Anywho, I thought that it'd be great to have an area dedicated to sports in general.  I'd also enjoy having some sports-related games going on.  For example, sports trivia!  Another idea, seasonal predictions!  (I've tried doing an NFL prediction game on other forums, similar to what they do on the FOX games, but there's never an interest there).

 

So how about it?  Any takers for chatting or playing?

Mostly into basketball and tennis, doe.

I used to follow tennis.  I was a big fan of Serena William and Kim Clijsters, and HATED Anna Kournikova.

 

As for basketball, that's one of those sports that I have to have a reason to care, such as the team that represents the college I work at.  I do have NBA teams that I root for, but none of them have made it to the finals.  (With what's there this year, I'm rooting for the Spurs).  During this time of year, I prefer to follow the NHL, but this is another case where I'm not a fan of either team involved in the finals.  (Though, I am rooting more for the Rangers; fuck the Kings).
