I don't care how long the hiatus was, the wait was worth it. The cuteness in this is incomprehensible, I can't take it. I hope to see more of your works of her in the coming future. She is just too awesome and adorable.

lol well I had to make her some rival of the Red Wings. I would like to see a sports episode and see some pony go fan crazy, but which Mane 6 would be the one? No one would expect it from Fluttershy lol. But Twilight I can see being a major stats nerd (baseball - sabermetrics).

They need to have official sports leagues in Equestria. Like, seriously. Some of them might not translate to ponies well, such as NHL/ice hockey, but I guess they'll have to live with it. Sports as a whole is too big and lively of a culture to not exist in a land such as Equestria.

 

Who knows, maybe we'll have an episode one day where a newly-discovered sport (for horses, let's say...uh...football?) is the hot thing in town and the mane 6 go see it or something. Idunno, I'd just want sports and the show to coincide for once somehow.

 

Anywho, when it comes to who'd be a fitting sports fanatic, I'd say easily Dash. I could see her, like Wingnut, trying to get the others into it, and some of them, especially Rarity, rejecting it. I guess that could turn into some kind of morale/lesson. Here's what I'd predict happen:

 

Pinkie: Well, she's all about fun, so I assume she'd go see a game with Dash right away.

Rarity: Of course would refuse.

Fluttershy: Eventually succumbing, she would probably see, but have a spaz attack every few seconds from the amount of violence.

Twilight: Like you said, be interested in the statistics and science behind it.

Applejack: Being a tomboy like Dash, I assume she'd accept the sport.
