Thread for Applejackplaysbass' RP

 

The sun rose as a breathtaking array of colors as it peaked over the horizon. The air was a bit humid, but just right, and the wind gave a slight breeze. As the sunlight shown through her shutters, Applejack sleepily hopped out of her bed, to prepare to head into Ponyville.

Chrystal Heart was walking in ponyville enjoying the morning. she knoticed out of the corner of her eye a mare wearing a cowboy hat walk into town. intrigued, she headed over to talk to the pony. "hello!" she said "i'm vacationing here from the crystal empire. what are you doing?"

Applejack trotted over to the crystal pony. "Oh well howdy now, I'm Applejack!" she replied, tipping her hat. "What brings yah all the way out here? The Crystal Empire is mighty far from here." Applejack said, with a large grin on her face.

Eloquence screwed a stopper into a bottle of ink and levitated it into her saddlebags. "Let's see, notebooks, parchment, quills, ink, books..." Her pet hummingbird flitted into view "Oh! And Ellipsis, of course. Looks like I'm all set!" She set her bags on her back and walked out into the bright, gorgeous morning, with Ellipsis riding atop her multihued mane. She wanted to get an early start on the day, she had heard that there was a visitor from the Crystal Empire in Ponyville, and she wanted desperately to meet her. She had never even met a crystal pony, let alone one from the Empire, and she wanted so badly to learn the Empire's fascinating history from someone who was really there, living it! She could only imagine how many incredible stories she might have!

 

Now she just has to find her....

Chrystal Heart beamed at the pony's wide grin "oh just sightseeing. Chrysal Heart by the way. i've decided to travel all of equestria with bluebell wishes!" she knew applejack would be confused, but she wanted to have to explain.

 

 

 

Gears the tinkerpony worked on her mechwings in her shop. she didn't know of anything exciting going on today so she continued to oil and improove her creation, otherwise known as instant pegasus/ alicorn. it was her best work she thought. her day had been boring so far but she loved her work and that was the important thing.

Gears' work was soon interrupted by a knock at the door. Her friend's voice could be heard faintly on the other side. 

 

"Gears! I can hear the near-continuous sounds of you working in there, so I know you are here, and I know you can take a moment's break to assist a dear, dear friend of yours, can you not?" Though she could not be seen pouting and batting her eyes, she imagined the actions carried in the tone of her voice.

Gears stopped working. she could practically see Eloquence batting her eyes and pouting like she always did. Gears opened the door to see her friend doing the same expression she imagined her doing. "ok. what super famous, possibly foreign celebrity pony do you want me to help find this time?" she said in a playfully annoyed voice. Gears knew her well enough to know what she wanted when she saw that face on Eloquence. "trenderhoof? or mabey its princess Celestia herself?" she laughed.

"Oh hush." Eloquence said as she nudged her friend playfully. "And it's not a celebrity pony this time, it's a crystal pony, from the Crystal Empire. Celebrities aren't the only ponies with interesting stories to tell you know." She stuck her tongue out. "And you know I wouldn't be excited about that Trenderhoof fellow, he's a terribly overrated writer, and a bit full of himself if you ask me."

Gears stated rather dryly but still playfully, "so how can i help you find said Chrystal pony? hmmm? whats the story behind all this? no let me guess. you want me to use instant alicorn and soar over ponyville to find said pony? would you mind telling me said pony's name so i can stop calling said pony "said pony"?" it was starting to get confuseing. "tell me what you know. i don't think said pony has all day."

Sunny Melody trotted into the Ponyville streets, just out of a party performance job, the guests of which were already flooding out of the doors behind her. She was planning to head home, but as she glanced up at the sun, she saw it was still quite early.

I'll stop for a bite to eat at Sugarcube Corner, then go for a nice walk in the park.

She'd have to drop off her instruments at her house first, though. Levitating both the banjo and guitar was already tiring her out. As she laid out her mental plan, she trotted off in the direction of home.

"much abliged my dear sweet friend, much abliged." Gears said makeing use of her old antique dictionary's vocabulary "just let me tweak this to distribute the wing pressure.....(meaning a whole lot of technobable) and we'll i mean i'll be ready for lift off."

she started tinkering away "so just what do you want me to say to Chrystal heart when i land next to her, a unicorn with mechwings and a rainbow horn? (in a girly mocking voice) hi i'm Gears and my friend Eloquence wants to meet you."

"One thing I've learned as a writer, everyone likes to talk about themselves. Ponies are flattered by my interest in their lives and thoughts, and you know that I would not do what I do if it did not bring joy. Now, when you do meet Chrystal Heart, perhaps you should try this." She straightened up and began her speech. "Hello Chrystal. I have a friend who would really like to talk to you. "well i supose its worth a try. Lift off in 10 seconds. will you be following me on foot? if so i advise you stay back at least 10 hoofs in case i change course." she troted outside puting her wings on her back as she went. "3 2 1 lift off!"she flew into the sky and began searching the ground for signs of a certain Chrystal pony. a glimmer caught her eye. pink Chrystal threw off the glimmer. Gears signaled to Eloquence that she was going to land and did so not 2 hooves away from the chrystal pony and applejack "Hello Chrystal. I have a friend who would really like to talk to you. She's absolutely fascinated by the history of your home, and would love to hear any stories you might like to share about your life and your home." she said compleately copying everything her friend had told her to say in a semirobotic voice.

in the middle of the conversation a unicorn with mech wings, one heart eye and a rainbow horn touched down so close to Chrystal Heart she jumped. she then spit out a speach she had obviously memorised beforehand. Chrystal, semi shocked, didn't know how to respond. plus she didn't even hear half of it. "are are you a a cyborg?" she asked dumbly.

Gloomfury walked into town after a walk from Canterlot. Gloom came to town to look for something tow do while he's taking a break from doing jobs in his line of work. He takes out a pack of cigarettes from his bag, puts one in his mouth and lit it with a copper colored lighter. He takes a drag of it while it was still in his mouth and blows the smoke out of his nose while he put his lighter away. He started walking again, eyeing the bright colored ponies with dumb smiles on their stupid faces. 

 

Gloom didn't like to smile a lot, and he looked at everything with hollowed eyes of someone who gave up on life.

 

@,  While he was walking and not really thinking  he bumped into a cream-yellow-ish unicorn. He looks at her with the same frown and hollow eyes. "Sorry." Even though he didn't care a lot for ponies, he  wasn't always rude.

"Teribly sorry to bother you dear." Gears said "but my friend Eloquence came to my door requireing assistance in finding you. unfortunately i try not to let my friends down when they look like this." she imitated Eloquence's batting of eyelashes. "so i had to come find you and have possibly scared you half to death in the prosess. hmmm. to answer your question no i am not cyborg." Chrystal had begun to circle around Gears looking at her wings and horn. "increadible" she said. Gears, uncomfortable because of the attention said "oh this? i um made it."

Eloquence moved towards the group at a full canter, her tiny hummingbird flying by her side. She was panting hard by the time she reached the group, fur slightly damp with sweat from the exertion.

 

"Hello Applejack, and, you must be Chrystal Heart. Pleasure to meet you dear. Gears, I don't want to repeat what's already been said, so would you mind filling me in?" She took one look at the faces of the two ponies and then turned back to Gears, arching an eyebrow and glaring a bit. 

 

"You repeated what I said word for word in a stupid voice didn't you?"

"Oh, hi there stranger!" Sunny Melody looked over the drab pony she'd just bumped into. "Sorry for running into you, I wasn't looking where I was going." She surrounded her dropped instruments with her magical aura, and began to trot home again.

Gloom watched the overly happy pony walk off. He was glad she didn't say anything else. He hated overly happy ponies. He then took off walking to look for something to do. He was really bored now. He kept walking aimlessly as he thought of something that he could do. Get in a fight, steal something, starts a riot and cause some hell? Anything really.

Pinkie bounced happily down the road she hoped into a pony,"hi are you new I havent seen before my name is pinkamena diane pie or pinkie pie for short."She said ultra fast.Shd bounced around the pony.She smiled wide, and bounced some more.She giggled some more then looked at the pony,"what your name.  Gloom gave the pink mare an annoyed look. "Gloomfury and don't hop on me again." He could already till he was not going to like this mare. Hes run into overly happy ponies before, but he could tell this mare was beyond overly happy she was... maddeningly overly happy. His eye started to twitch a little.

"I know it is. And I came here to lie low and take a rest from doing jobs for a bit."  Gloom didn't care about telling ponies about what he dose for a living. He was honest most of the time. And maybe if he told some things about himself to this annoying pony that usually made ponies take off running maybe she would do the same thing and leave him alone.

He shivered a little when she let go of him. He had no plan to be friends with that mare. Sure she was cute but her over happiness and really annoying personality overpowers it. Even though she was annoying as hell he didn't feel bored when she was there. He hated being bored a little more then he hates being annoyed.
