1. I also want to see more locations in the world, maybe another country that isnt depicted as waeker than equestria, and some politics and history to go with it.

 

2. Chrysalis should come back; a whole army of insects doesnt just disappear into the sky Team Rocket Style.

3. Knowing what happened to Applejacks parents would be cool to, since weve seen her whole family except them pretty much.

 

4. Although I love the lessons about friendship every episode, I do wish there was at least some kind of overaching plotline that strung at least some of the episodes together.

 

5. The rounding out of Princess Celestia's character. She has a pretty flat personality imo, at least compared with luna :comeatus:

My main wish is for the CMC to get their cutie marks! I'm starting to get rather impatient with them coming soooo close, and then not getting them.

 

More stories about the past of characters. The one where we found out how the mane 6 got their cutie marks is a good example. 

 

As a couple others have said, some more darker episodes would be nice.

I'd rather there were either no romantic pairings in the show at all or homosexual pairings were also represented - rather than the latter being treated like these unthinkable and startling impossibilities.  "But it's a kids' show!"  Sometimes children are more open-minded and accepting than us older folks.  There was this big thing about Spongebob supposedly being gay years back, and a child fan of the show proceeded to ask, "So what if he is?"  And childhood seems an ideal time to learn how to accept others.

There aren't enough brohoofs in the world for this.  You are a genius.  I agree 100%.

 

My wishes:

 

• A good long run (but not too long, no shark jumping), with good closure at the end.  A finale with grace and integrity.
• Three movies - FIM, the actual proper pony movie, that would take place sometime in the middle of the series, like, idk, inbetween S5 and 6 or something.  A prequel movie about Celestia and Luna before they were immortal, in the time of Starswirl.  And a spin-off movie based on The Circle of Friends fanfic by Honey_Habanero, taking place an indeterminate time, presumamble many thousands of years after FIM.
• Some proper, big MLP video games made by GOOD devs.  I talkin like Square, Bungie, Sony Santa Monica, Valve, Naughty Dog, maybe Bethesda if it wasn't too buggy.
• And lastly, my completely unrealistic wish is that AppleDash become canon.  TwiDash would be fine too, except that wouldn't work with The Circle of Friends movie.

 

*EDIT* This thread is depressing me because soooo many great ideas and I know they'll never happen.  *SIGH*.

And though my OTP is RainbowPie, that AppleDash post from Ashleigh Ball a while back gave me pleasant feels.  I'd like to see how the show would approach any of those three pairings: RP, AD, or TwiDash.  Perhaps...  Perhaps "Castle-Mania" was a setup to a canon AppleDash lol:
