ooc MLP Western - Dustbowl Caravan

I'm fine with anything as long as you can give a good reason for their presence, that said I've looked over all the OCs you have on your page and I can't really see any of them in the setting of this RP without major edits. I could recommend some changes to a few of their backstories if you'd like, or if you've got time to spare you could design a new OC altogether, whichever you prefer.

Well, I was thinking of either:

1. Using Forge and saying that he's is still a Smith, but he makes stuff for carts or bullets or horse shoes or things of that nature. Thus, giving him a western style back story...ish

or 2. Making a lone ranger/adventurer character that I was planning on trying to make anyways and this could be a good opportunity to make him...

That being said, I'll probably try #1. His back story is fairly simplistic and this would allow me to place Forge in any setting and, with a bit of tuning, be able to make him fit...kinda....

Here is my ponysona Lee! An interesting character, by all accounts.


The split minded adventurer David Pocket is here with Poe to keep him company. (Both in need of very heavy editing :/ )

Well, I was thinking of either:

BTW please know that you can feel free to control characters for things such as purchasing a drink or something similar, however if you want to actually learn something about the location or lore just ask a clear question (I.E. what is this place?) to one of the non-player characters and I'll step in to answer like that character would.

Ok, maybe I'm missing something or just blind, but A. What town are we currently in? And B. What town are we going to?

 

The town we are temporarily staying in is called Deerango (It's a pun on the town Durango that will make more sense in the future, I promise).

 

The destination doesn't really have a name yet due to me being unable to think of anything punnerific enough, if you have a good idea let me know. In the meantime I have been using the substitute "New Lands" because I'm so creative.

Could I use another OC I just finished? Dusty Spur. He could be a merc hired to protect the caravan? I could nix his armor and rifle and just keep his pistol and knife?

Honestly I feel it's kind of full, that's the only reason I have denied the last few requests. has yet to respond however, and if he doesn't do so soon I can give you Quarry's spot. It's also moving a tad slow right now and if that continues I may as well open up a few spots to get it moving.

Oh yeah, I'll try keeping my two OC's out of the same conversation (except for once, but this one can't be helped) because usually I post from my phone, and when I'm on my phone, I can't change my characters dialogue color like I can on the computer.
