The first official battle of a series of debates discussing two different items or things and which is better.

 

Today, i'm just gonna start with a battle going for your Nostalgia! It's time for a battle of the Nickelodeon Idol, Spongbob Squarepants, and the greatest children's mystery cartoon from Cartoon Network, Scooby-Doo!

 

Now. DEBATE!

 

I'll start off. I think that Scooby-Doo! was amazing. It was, in fact, my most favorite TV show of all time when I was a kid. Compared to Spongebob, I thought that the characters and comedy beat Spongebob by a lot. The only thing that probably would have lead my opinion astray is the fact that the series had a great downfall in it's modern generation.

 

So, let's do this.

I watched both as a kid but I watched Spongebob more and plus I find Spongebob funnier (I'm talking the early seasons here) than Scooby Doo (I'm talking about a couple of the shows) Both seem to have one thing in common though, both seem to be getting milked into the ground until they are out of ideas and I find both shows to currently not be that good due to being milked. I will say though, I found Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated decent since it actually had character development and a story arc instead of doing the same old thing.

I voted both, b/c I watch both Spongebob and Scooby Doo, however, Scooby Doo was around longer and much more interesting, so I say Scooby Doo.

 

(BTW, Scooby Doo, Where Are You to Scooby Doo Kids were the best.  The new ones now suck).

I like them both, Spongebob is much more nostalgic for me.

Scooby Doo is one of the greatest cartoon shows of all time. Spongebob is too, but SD still kicks ass while Spongebob is dying from how stupid and annoying the show has become.

I love both shows,but Scooby Doo is the most nostalgic to me!

 

Hell,I have a video tape with all Scooby Doo,Where Are You episodes recorded on it.

I vote Scooby Doo. When I was kid, I watched a lot Scooby Doo. Spongebob I watched very rarely, and as kid I don't really like him. Now I like both of them, but new episodes of Scooby Doo are stupid and boring. I like old Scooby Doo.

I have to disagree there. Scooby Doo:Mystery Incorporated is a great series.

 

(There was a couple episodes that didn't keep my attention,but the others were awesome.)

Scooby-Doo I watched a ton of when I was young. Didn't really get into Spongebob. I loved Scooby-Doo so much that I named my dog after him. So yeah, Scooby-Doo all the way.
