Tempest noticed the crystal empire and smirked. "I might as well see how the alicorn of love is doing." He thought, as he flew towards the city.

Gale sighed and simply decided to explore the house. She was careful not to knock anything over with her wings and was curious as to what the smith had here. Not that she would steal or anything.

@,

"Yes, milady," he said, bowing deeply once again before opening up a rift into Mortus behind him and slowly backing into it, removing him from sight.

As soon as the rift was close, he growled, spinning around on his cloak as his body became more solid in him homeworld. "Adjusting his mask, he walked straight from one end of the hallway to the other, taking a card and punching it on his way almost absentmindedly while he seethed with frustration. As he opened the door, he straightened, sighed, and looked around the plaza-like area he was in, fellow Aspects floating around the large, interdimensional market. Several races, occupations, and even planar outsiders could be found here, which made it quite interesting when it was busy.

However, it was not at the moment. Grumbling at his timing, he glided towards the nearest Equestria safe exit point before hearing his name called.

"Agririon!"

I know that from somewhere... Turning around, he recognized almost instantly on sight two of his fellow guardians- Lethargias, the Guardian of Magic, and the large, strong, and silent Orathius, the Guardian of Kindness. "Hello there, Lethargias. And Orathius." he said with a grumble. "How are you doing?"

"Not so well, to be honest." With a sigh, he looked back at Orathius, giving him the polite opportunity to talk. He bowed his head in deference before he continued. "I was wondering if you, perhaps, knew where-"

"Mistress Fluttershy is? No, I do not. You know I don't. Courtesy or not, could you stop asking me questions that you know the answer to? It's irritating."

With a huff, Lethargias sighed. "Well, Orathius didn't know the answer to that question, first off. What has you so miffed, Agririon?"

"Perhaps it is the fact that I merely sit away watching my energy coalesce instead of doing something. I was just summoned to Celestia to be told that I was to act as an alarm buzzer if Luna wants me."

"Oh, you poor dear," Lethargias taunted with a smile on his face, but it quickly faded. "Tell them something for me."

"Oh? Care to score a few points for your pretty little princess?"

With a growl, he looked him into the eye. "Look. These current antics of Celestia and Luna are tying knots in Mr. D's argument to keep them in power. You know why he's doing it."

"Yes, I know of his infatuation with Luna."

"And hasn't it been decided by the Council that a pony possessed by the Nightmare is not, in fact, his or her original form, but a form of the Nightmare?" With a sigh, he looked away.

"I know of the ruling," commented Agririon. "But what..." Suddenly, his point made sense. "...oh. I see. Who's contending for their removal?"

"Chaos-"

"That's no surprise, it's been vying for their removal ever since Discord left the place."

"Time, and Knowledge. Light and Darkness probably aren't going to change their minds, seeing how it is their aspects on the throne, and Death has presidence over the council, but all they need is for Order to change it's mind, and then they are going to start planning thier fate."

"How do you think we could change this?"

"What do you think? It's an obvious answer, and one that you should be able to accomplish. Use what spirit energy you have occupying your head, and come up with your own." With that, Lethargius bowed and departed, with Orathuis lingeering behind just a moment longer.

Sighing, the conversation with the meddling devil not improving his mood, he entered the next checkpoint before punching another card and walking into the next room, where- after closing the door- he ripped open a portal to Equestria before stalking through it. Well, at least he had something to ponder about doing.

"Sure." With a flash of green and a smile, he turned from his changeling form to a light brown pegasus. "And these ponies aren't bad guys, that's why we're hiding. We don't want them to be scared of us."

With the words of his brother's agrement, Dark Wing began to fly in the direction of Manehatten's tallest skyscraper. As he neared, he could tell that all was not normal. "Come on Paladin! Double time! We must make sure the princess is safe!" Dark Wing quickly flew in, landing in front of her, bowing deeply. "I am sorry that we are late your highness. Are you all right? We have completed your mission in Hallow Shades. The area is clear of threats for the moment."

He took a deep breath before continuing. "If I had known that something like this had happened, I would have stayed here by your side. You have my personal pledge of protection, at all costs, my princess."

@,

After he thanks the princess, Shutter turns around to see the guard. He listens to what the guard has to say, and nods, then looks back towards Twilight. "I guess I had better be off." He picks up his camera and bows his head to say good bye, before starting to trot towards the throne room doors.

Gale sighed and simply decided to explore the house. She was careful not to knock anything over with her wings and was curious as to what the smith had here. Not that she would steal or anything.

As you fly towards the city, you see the pink shield open up for just a moment and a few sparkling shapes fly out. It doesn't take a genius to realize that you'd been spotted and that some guards are on now on an intercept course. You hear magically magnified voice come from the ground say "Freeze. You have guards incoming. If you cooperate, we won't hurt you. This doesn't have to get ugly."

Forge returns to find Gale exploring. "Something I can help you with?"

"Sure." With a flash of green and a smile, he turned from his changeling form to a light brown pegasus. "And these ponies aren't bad guys, that's why we're hiding. We don't want them to be scared of us."

Before you can leave though, you hear someone shout "Agririon!" When you turn around you see...a strange bi-pedal being that look more mechanical then organic making it's way towards you. This being is huge, easily taller then the princesses, and is covered in a glowing silver armor. It also has a mask on that seems to radiate power. It's casually stepping over and around all of the other beings in the area and they, for their part, seem not to notice him at all. Even when he trips over Orathius, the aspect of kindness acts as if nothing happened. Finally the being is standing before you. Even though his appearance is intriguing to say the least, what really gets your attention is it's eyes. They seem to glow with a light unlike anything you've ever seen before. A moment passes and finally the being says "Agririon. I'm here to warn you that there is something greater then anyone knows going on right now. There are forces at work here that are even older then life and death. The bad news is a powerful being named Alpha is trying to manipulate to world for his own amusement. He is very very powerful. The good news is a foil for him has been set in place. His name is Destiny and he is working to benefit Equestria."

Darius's eyes light up a blood red color the moment Mooncrypt shape changes and a deep voice seems to hiss out of his mouth. As he starts to speak, a feeling of dread seems to pass over you. "HHmmmmmm. What are you? I've never encountered any creature like you before. Interesting." Then the feeling passes and Darius shakes his head, his eyes returning to their normal green and purple. "Ow, what was that? Now I have a headache...oh, hello? Who are yo-...wait, oh! It's you! That's so cool! I wish I could change like that..."

(((Darius is more combat oriented so he doesn't know any illusion type spells, so Mooncrypt can put one on him if you like)))

Paladin flies by his brother's side all the way back to the tower, his dread growing as the scene comes in to view. "What happened?!? Are these...changelings?"

Luna smiles at Dark Wing's statement. "Thank you my loyal friend. There was a small ambush. Luckily, I was on hoof to rescue my gaurds before they could be overwhelmed. It seems that our security measures aren't quite up to par. We'll need to take a look at this."

The guard takes you to the train station where you ride to Dodge city. You meet AJ at the station. She smiles at you in a friendly way. "Well then, I'm all set. Where are we off to first?"

Here is my ponysona Lee! An interesting character, by all accounts.

The split minded adventurer David Pocket is here with Poe to keep him company. (Both in need of very heavy editing :/ )

Gale glanced at Forge and shrugged. "Just looking around. I guess you could say I was always a bit curious of new things. That's how I got these scars." She said. The dragoness then motioned her head towards her scarred wings and smiles.

Tempest rolled his eyes and simply landed on the ground. "I'll play their game. Maybe I can get some support from Cadence while I'm here." He thought. The bat pony then raised his hooves to show that he was unarmed. The last thing he needed was to have another alicorn that wouldn't trust him.

"Alpha and Destiny?" Agririon thought for a moment, interested. "Ah, how we have desir- wait a second..." he looked at him carefully. "Who are you and where are you from, stranger? You are no wraith and, although we have many visitors, I have never seen the likes of you before..." He attempted to place the stranger that had walked up to him. "But this is a fact that I will definitely keep in mind, traveler. Thank you."

Now, normally, Agririon would have been highly suspicious of this character. But, not only was Agririon in his homeland which he knew like the back of this annoying skull he had to wear as a sign of being bound by an oath to an outsider, this being must be at least somewhat benevolent, as there were quite intense... he didn't want to say security, but it was the word that made the most sense. That, and no one was stupid enough to try something right underneath Death's nose.

...

Right?

Moon Crypt smiled, slightly unnerved by what he had seen him become but was rather determined to keep it off of his face.. "Well, I can make you a temporary disguise, but you'll have to be careful. One wrong spell, and your back to being you. Which, while being yourself is a good thing, it would cause quite the panic, yes?" With a smile, his horn glowed green. Casting the spel, he spent about five minutes making sure all of the proportions are right. "Now, you don't have to worry about anyone bumping into you- for all purposes, you are a pony. Now, we can go ahead and go. Remember to be careful!" With a smile, he began the few miles there were left until he reached the town, ready for any and all questions that Darius would throw at him.

 (sorry for my absence)

When he spotted Applejack, in the train station, Shutter seemed happy to see her. He returned her friendly smile, and listened to what she had to say, before saying. "I actually hadn't thought of where we're going yet, I was hoping we could decide together." He looked away from Applejack, for a moment, as he thought about where they might headed. "Was there anywhere, near Ponyville, that was special to you and your friends before the war? It might be a good start looking."

Luna smiles. "Ah you're both here. Good. I have need of both of you. I know you're hesitant to leave my side, but I promise this operation is paramount to the safety our Republic. You've heard of the Inquisition right? The demon slayers that are devoted to fighting off other worldly beings that might mean to harm us? Well, I have reason to believe there may be a defector in their ranks. One of the higher ups seems to have taken a sponteanous trip to young Twilight's town, Appleloosa. I'd like you to see if you can find out why. What could've made him leave. The one you're after is named Mooncrypt. He's a changeling, but he's not one of the evil mindless drones that have been attacking us. He's quite in control of himself. See what he's up to."

Forge winces at the sight of the scars and nods. "Well, if there's anything you're interested in? Anything catch your eye?"

The guards round you up and bring you to the edge of the bubble where a pony in a large suit of armor is standing. The suit of armor is beyond anything you've ever seen before (Use this as a reference. Just imagine it's less NLR and more...crystal empire). It looks mechanical almost. The eye slits glow and there's what looks like a large cannon mounted on he back. The helmet opens up  and you see Shining Armor's face. "Well well well. What do we have here? A bat pony? In the north? Fly up here to spy for that Nightmare?"

Now, we can go ahead and go. Remember to be careful!" With a smile, he began the few miles there were left until he reached the town, ready for any and all questions that Darius would throw at him.

The being looks at you, tilting his head to the side as if amused. "I am part of the elder race. The Immortalis. We have lived for many years. To many to count. I am merely a messenger, but a being of great power, none the less. The two beings I warned you of are also Immortalis, but they are of higher casts and, therefore, are much more powerful. Be weary of Alpha. He is a sly trickster, and remember, things aren't always what they seem." With that, the being disappears, and it seems almost as if you wake from a dream. You're standing in front of Celestia's palace, and Dusty is waving his hoof in front of your face. "Hello? Agririon was it? You awake in there?"

Darius is surprisingly quiet the walk in to town, but that could've been due to the fact that he was smiling and looking all around him like a tourist, taking in the many sites. He's so captivated by everything around him that at one point when you turn to walk towards your destination, he keeps going straight for about a full minute before realizing you're not in front of him and turning around to follow you. Finally you make it. A guard stops you at the entrance. "Halt. Identification?"

AJ thinks for a second before shrugging. "Other then 'ma farm that me and 'ma family lived on, we didn't really have any place that was particularly special. Basically that was the whole town. We could just start at Ponyville and see where that takes us?"

Gale shrugged slightly and sighed. "I don't think I could use any of the weapons, seeing as how I rely on my claws and teeth." She said. "Do you think you could make me a set of amour, though?"

Tempest smirked slightly and simply laughed. "Good to see you to. As for why I am here, it's time to bring this war to an end, and I seek allies. Celestia and Luna have already hurt many with this petty war. I have already left Luna's force and, I guess you could say, am now a third party to this conflict."
