Does France exist in MLP Universe?

I just watched "Suited for Success" yesterday and I heard that Fluttershy said "French haute couture, please!".

I mean... Seriously? FRENCH? Is human world really possibly existing in MLP Universe? And it's EG a paralel universe with alien multicolor-skinned people who look like humans but aren't? If you do the comparison it's a little confusing, no?

I betrongly believe that MLP G4 is tied in with MLP past gens (in g4 it was shown briefly mentioned that the Everfree forest was named something else before- and I suspect that it was the shadow forest in g1; along with the Mane 6 going on adventures in places that were shown in g1)- and I know for a fact that in G1, for example, the Moochic shot off a whole bunch of places that existed in the real world, as though they existed in the Pony world- France, Egypt, ect.

so yea, I'm sure France (or maybe it would be called Prance, now?) wold exist in mlp

If there is a Prance elsewhere in the show, I will just assume that Discord stole it's capital city and put it where it is now.

I would say yea, a pony France does exist. There are some good examples on here already, but some of the French Language stuff is changed in other languages versions. I would say the strongest evidence is taken from a book, where a pony named Charity is talking to Rarity and she mentions having studied abroad in Mare-is, Prance

IMO, parts of the Crystal Empire look like they were influenced by Paris (The one in France, not any of the other towns named that)

Funny thing, one part in one of the G.M. Berrow MLP books briefly mentions "Prance"... but says "French" instead of "Prench" or whatever. I wonder if that was because of Fluttershy saying "French" in this episode.
