Adult Pegasi usually hold their wings close to their sides, but I've noticed that Pegasus foals usually hold their wings raised most of the time. why?

I mean, have you took a second glance at those things? They're tiny! There's no way they can fold

Really? Either it's hard for them to fold their wings, or the animators of the show do that without realizing/because it would be hard to animate.

Either they don't have full control, or they're too small to fold.. Then again, Scootaloo folds her wings...o__o

This is a question I've been curious about. Pegasus foals always do tend to have their wings open rather than folded. To be honest, I would prefer it if their wings were mostly folded.

I think it kinda started with the beginning of the show. Even adult pegasi were shown with their wings opened most of the time in season 1. Over time they kept their wings folded most of the time. Although, they kept foals with opened wings. Maybe the show staff thought that the open wings looked more appealing on a foal.

As for an in show reason, it's hard to say. It could be that foal pegasi don't have as much control, or maybe it's more comfortable to keep them open as a foal. It's hard to say.
