Pony location wordplay in Equestria. What about Japan?

There's a number of areas on Equestria's map with names that wordplay as locations from our world (Vanhoover, Saddle Arabia, Las Pegasus), and well....after coming to the conclusion with evidence that past generations of My Little Pony have taken place in the same world, I got to wondering about a certain little pony from g3 names Kimono; and where she might be from. Do you guys suppose that there's a place in g4's world that would be like Japan for Equines? What do you think that location would be called? closest I could think up would be Whinnypon.

I remember Kimono. I really like her design, mostly because I love all things purple.

Whinnypon is a good name, but I can't think of anywhere in the established canon that represents Japan.

that's because through all 4 seasons, the cast has been staying inside the country of Equestria. (there's other territories beyond there, as shown on the map and stated in the journal canon)

Rather than Japan specifically, there could be a place that represents east asia in general so they could represent China, Japan, Korea, etc without having to create separate places for all of them. Maybe call it the 'Foal East'? I don't know, I'm bad with names.

East Haysia, perhaps? Then I guess a mix of smaller cities from China, Japan, Korean, Taiwan, ect could all be grouped in that country.

   Well, I suppose in terms of what could be mentioned in the show its best to be as vague as possible. Might be preferable to just sound vaguely Asian rather than risk having a country be too blatantly referred to & having someone get offended somehow.

 

  Think I've heard it referred to somewhere as Neighpon. As in, 'neighponnese.' Think that might work a bit better than Japony as the pun corrupts a much lesser known word to the point where its easier to take as potential name for a fantasy kingdom.
