The cyan earth pony returned from the bridge to report his findings. "Captain, we didn't just crash into the wreckage, the bow exploded!" Everypony's face turned pale. "W-what?!" Keel fearfully stuttered.

Darts put a hoof over Lovely's mouth, "shh, the last thing we need to do is panic." Darts looked back at the captain, "well looks like I will be clearing the skies alone this time!" He turned and ran out into the fog, leaping of the boat and disappearing immediately.

Luas stands and gives the captain a evil glare "Everyone to the lifeboats ill go down there and check to see what caused the explosion ill meet you at the life boats afterwards" We walked towards the door behind the captain "Excuse me...Sir"

Keel turned to Lucas to be met with a piercing, fierce glare, the sight of which made Keel feel uneasy, mainly because he knew why he was being given that look. "Y-yes?"

Still looking at him "Permission to find out what caused the explosion sir"

Lovely was trembling, although she wasn't shouting any more she couldn't control the waterfall of tears flowing out of her eyes. Lovely sat in silence trying to collect her thoughts, her eyes stinging from crying so much. She had watched Waves go into the washroom, she wondered if she was alright. She tried to get up and check, but her body was paralysed in fear.

I can't leave this ship without getting my bags, Lovely told herself, now if only I could remember where that damned room was.

"Permission granted!" Keel shouted to be heard among the panicking passengers. Lucas turned around to fly to the bow, but Keel put a hoof on Lucas' shoulder. Keel shouted, "I'm coming with you! I'm just as confused as you are about what's going on!"

Lucas shakes his head "Go with them it will make them feel more safe like i said ill try and get back before anything bad happens" He walks through the door and down to the middle of the ship which by now was thick with smoke he put on his goggles and walks towards the fuel tanks as he opens the door flames engulf the door burning his hoof "Damn it" He forces the door closed and looks around for another way in or at least a fire extingusher to put out the flames.

"Please don't leave me alone..." Lovely whispered from behind the Captain and Lucas, they turned to see her sobbing, red-puffy eyes. Lovely sniffled a bit. She was terrified, but attempting to keep it together.

"Be careful!" Keel yelled as Lucas headed for the middle of the ship.

 

He turned towards his crew. "Alright everyone!" He shouted. All crew members stood up straight in front of him, saluting. "Our ship is currently going down, so I'm assigning you into teams to search every nook and cranny of this ship for the passengers and escort the to the lifeboats at the port and starboard of the ship! Understand?" Keel continued, to which everyone shouted, "Right captain!". "Alright, One third of the crew will head for the stern to rescue any drowning passengers! The next third will search the cabins and cargo bay for belongings and stray passengers! The rest will be with me escorting the passengers here to the lifeboats! Go, go, go!"

 

The crew split up immediately, with Keel's group gathering round the passengers to be escorted to the lifeboats. As he did that, he took notice of one of the passengers who was sobbing. "Are you alright?" Keel said.

Lovely looked up at the Captain's concerned voice. She tried wiping away her tears in vain. She shook her head 'no' and leant on him for support. Lovely's mind was racing, horrible thought polluting her mind. She looked the Captain in his eyes, her mascara running down her face, "Tell it to me straight," Lovely's voice was shaky, "are we going to die?"

Keel's mind was racing with questions about what happened, but for now, he saved answering them for after getting everyone off the ship. "I honestly don't know, but we need to get you out of here before it's too late. I have my group escorting the passengers to the lifeboats." Keel answered, holding his hoof out to her.

why? WHY? he thought to himself, he felt like all the money he spent to get on this ship was going down the drain

Lovely used her magic to clean the running make-up off her face and put her hoof in the Captain's hand. "I suppose I won't be able to get my things?" She asked, still in shock, "Not like I'd need them, if I die anyway." She stared into the Captain's eyes, she trusted him.

 

Lovely began to worry about the other ponies. She wondered where Darts had flown off to, if Lucas had found the cause of the explosion, if Waves was alright... If anypony was going to make it out alive.

I wonder if they'll remember me fondly back home... My life may have been short, but not in vain. I just wish I could have done more with it... Stop that thinking Lovely! You need to stay positive. We might make it back alive, we might be able to see Mom and Dad again, we might...

 

Lovely smiled at the Captain, "I'm ready."

Lucas is unable to find another door in or a Fire extingusher so he goes back to the door and shouts "Buck!" Breathing heavily and opens the door looking at the flames he takes a deep breath and runs through the flames and reaches the other side he looks around and see's only one fuel tank is gone the other is extremely damaged so he sets to work on trying to stop it from blowing up in his face.

Keel smiled. "Alright then, follow me." Keel galloped for the lifeboats, with Lovely following him. Meanwhile, the crew members were searching the cargo bay for lost passengers, when one of them, a chartreuse unicorn found something odd lying in one of the crates. Using his magic, he opened the crate to find a shocking sight. He quickly alerted the others, who then sped up their search. After rounding up their passengers to escort, they all galloped up and out to the lifeboats.

Lovely followed the Captain out into the thick fog, she got scared and followed him even closer. Finally they arrived at the life boats and Lovely climbed into a boat with another pony, a grey pegasus (Colt).

"This is crazy isn't it?" Lovely nervously asked the grey pegasus.

Lucas using the earpiece tries to contact the captain "Captain...Is everyone off the ship?"

Colt looked at the mare who spoke to him

 

"I know right, when I paid for a luxury vacation, this is not what I had in mind"

 

He took a string out of his jacket pocket and tied it around the ends of his sunglasses and around his head, so the glasses wouldn't fall off

"Almost, Lucas. We just need to wait for the group down in the cargo bay and cabins," Keel responded, and just like that, the group arrived with passengers in tow.

As the passegers and crew members got on the lifeboats, the chartreuse unicorn went up to Keel and said, "I have to tell you something." Keel raised his eyebrow. "Huh?", Keel inquired. "We found that one of the crates contained a timed bomb. It's gonna go off after 5 minutes." the unicorn said. Keel froze in place from shock. "I... I don't believe this..." Keel stuttered in fear, his mind racing with questions. First they make me do something at the cost of many lives, and now they're destroying my ship? What the hay is this? Just what is going on? he thought. He immediately patched through to Lucas via his earpiece; he had to tell him before something goes wrong. "Lucas, you there?!"

"That gas tank's not what you should be worrying about! One of the crates in the cargo bay has a timed bomb that's going to detonate in 5 minutes! You need to get to the lifeboats now!" Keel yelled desperately.

"Explosives?! Are you Bucking Kidding me?! That wasent part of the plan!" Still Working on the Fuel Tanks "If i leave the Gas tanks will explode quicker then the Bomb".

Keel stood there, trying to come up with a plan. He knew the ship was far from saving, so all that was left was to get everyone off the ship alive. With that in mind, he created a plan with ease. "Lucas, I'm coming to help you!" he said into his earpiece as he rushed off to find Lucas.

Croaks his bag and then remembers Lovely's stuff. He grabbed that bag, too.

He ran as fast as he could down the hallway up the stairs. Everybody was on the deck. Except for him.

He fastened his bag on so it wouldn't slip off. He searches the crowd for the people he met. He found Lovely and while giving her bag he said, "Here you go. Is everybody here? What about Waves or Lucas?"
