Gale shrugged slightly and sighed. "I didn't really notice anuthing while I was there. Imlooked just like a standard hospital." She said. "As for a new ability, I think I have magnetokinesis. I'll need training to control ot, though." The teen then blushed slightly.

Victor blushed, surprised by the gesture of affection. "I... well, it's true." As they walked towards the apartments, Victor kept thinking about that kiss and just what she meant by it. Eventually he turned to her, right as they were entering the building. "Um... this might be kind of sudden, and I know last night you said you didn't want to, but... do you think maybe we could go out to dinner tonight? Maybe a movie? I just... I don't know exactly how you feel about me, but I think you like me, and I definitely like you, and I just want to find out if it could work. If it doesn't, we can just forget it ever happened and go back to being friends."

Highlander actually smirked a bit at that. "Different power levels. Yes, I think you're going to be learning something about that soon enough. Anyway, if that's what you want, very well. I think I know who should train you." He gestured to a man leaning against the wall, with the same ragged strip of cloth over his eyes that he'd had the night before. "I believe you two have already met Seer. He's not much for words, I'm afraid, but his martial skills are remarkable. You should be able to learn a lot from him."

 

The man- apparently known as Seer- simply nodded and said, "Come" and went off through the set of double doors at the back of the room.

 

((You may very well have already forgotten about this guy, but he was the one who kept trying to get you to leave during the fight last night.))

Tora woke up well enough once the cold water hit her. Adter she was done and ready, she walked out to Nico rubbing her eye"Okay...I guess this is a lazy day for me. Not off to a good start."

 

Rikku thought for a moment "A movie would be nice." She gave him a small smirk as she passed by him into the building, brushing her shoulder against his chest in passing.

"Lazy day? Wonder what you do on lazy days. You most likely mill around and do nothing, I guess." Nico said, shrugging his shoulders. He grabbed his Rubik's Cube and placed it in his pocket. "Ready to go?" Nico asked her once he was at the door. "What do you mean not off to a good start? Is this something that happens with you on random days?"

Luke was still waiting outside for them. Patience and discipline were things he was good at. Hopefully that would make him a good teacher.

 

 

Victor blushed deeper and tried to keep the goofy grin off his face. "Right. A movie it is. We can sort out the details when we finish here, I guess. And... thank you for giving me a chance." He followed her into the building.

 

Inside, they were greeted by Highlander. "Excellent! More new recruits have arrived! I'll give you the same opportunity as I did to the last two- do you want to go train now, or wait for the others and all train together?"

Zen followed the shady hero now dubbed Seer through the double doors. "So, you're name is Seer huh? Can you see the future or something?" He asked curiously. The man was pretty much an enigma to him since he first appeared in front of him and Louise, so he wanted to know at least one thing about him.

He didn't turn around, and barely seemed to acknowledge the question, but simply shook his head. "No." And that was all he said, as if the matter was closed. A man of few words, evidently. He continued to lead them down until they arrived at a door, which he opened, leading them into a large and basically empty room with metal walls. "We'll train here."

Gale nodded and smiles and felt a bit more comfortable. "I think I may just train on my own for a while." She said. "I don't really do groups like that. Anyway, we should probably head home. I'm a bit tired." The teen figured her fatigue was due to the shot more than anything else, but she was still a bit worried from earlier.

Louise was eager to prove herself to this man who said little and still, seemed to miss nothing.

Seer nodded. "Yes. Show me. We'll go from there." He paused in thought for a moment, seemingly reluctant to have to say more than a few words at a time. "If you have any questions, I'll answer them. But show me what you can do first. And then... then we can begin." He stepped back and leaned against a wall. "You first, girl. Show me."

@@Alex Kennedy, Louise smiled gleefully; she always revelled in having to demonstrate her powers at any time. First she grew bone claws from her hands, then horns from her skull, finally a long, dinosaur like tail from her spine. She withdrew these bones back into her skeleton, before shooting finger bones as projectiles from her hands which embedded themselves into the wall. As a final touch, she pulled a long bone from her arm, fashioned into the shape of a sword.

It was hard to gauge Seers reaction with his eyes covered like they were. He said nothing for a while, perhaps in thought about her powers, and eventually nodded. "That'll do. Just don't lose any important parts with that shooting trick. You might not always get a chance to take them back." He looked over at Zen. "You. Show me."

Gale nodded slightly and felt a bit light headed. "Sure. That would be nice." She said. The teen then gave Shadow a peck on the cheek and began to walk back towards the apartment as a thought crosses her mind. "I wonder what the others are up to? I guess a few of them may have joined that meta group, but I don't think they all bought the message." She thought to herself.

@ I blushed from the kiss but quickly recovered, "Okay so that's settled." I saw that Gale was light headed from her occasional stumbling. "You need any help there?"

 

(Just making the safe assumption that she is off balance due to the nature of lightheadedness.)

@@Alex Kennedy, Louise felt buoyed up by Seer's reaction. "Oh, I don't need to worry about that," she said, sliding the bone sword back into her forearm. "I eat a high calcium diet so I can regrow any bones that I lose in that way. It's much easier now that it was before."

 

Louise wasn't about to tell Seer everything at this moment. She wasn't going to tell him that she'd had the injections which had boosted her power, or about the new powers she now had.

Gale glanced at Shadow and nodded slightly . "I wouldn't mind." She said. "I guess I'm a bit more hungry than I thought." The teen then stopped so that Shadow could catch up and so that her head would stop feeling like it was spinning.

"Um sure." Zen said as he closed his eyes and started to activate his powers. Since he had recently drained his stored up energy, he took a little more from his surroundings than he probably should have. For a moment, absolutely no light existed around him before everything snapped back to the way it was. and Zen stood with his body emitting a slight glow. He then pointed his hand at a wall and shot a beam of concentrated light at it, making a more than noticeable hole. "I can do a lot more, but the other stuff isn't meant for indoor use." He then powered down and lowered his hand. "There is a drawback though. If I don't constantly use my powers and burn off the excess energy my body subconsciously absorbs at all times, I will explode. It's already happened once before." He said before sighing, trying to shake off the memories.

@ I caught up and put one of Gale's arms over my shoulder steadying her and hopefully decreasing her dizziness from the light headedness. With that we made our way to the apartment. About ten minutes later we arrived at the apartment, I unlocked the door and walked through. "Where do you want to sit?"

"I see." Seer was silent for a long time. "Both of you will come at me. Knock me off my feet and I'll consider the first lesson complete. I will only dodge and counter your blows, and otherwise will remain in this spot. You may use whatever methods you wish. If you have any questions, ask them now. Otherwise, begin."

Zen looked at Louise for a moment before going on the offensive. Now when it comes to self-defense without the use of his powers, Zen pretty much sucked. He never really needed to learn how to defend himself properly so he ran up to the Seer and came right out with a punch to his face.

"Could you set me on the couch? If I go unconscious, at least I'll land on something soft." She said, smiling slightly. "Thanks for helping me. I guess this must be one of the side effects of the shot." The girl knew that she could trust Shadow, but felt that she may be a burden.

@@Alex Kennedy, @, Louise waited for Zen to begin the offensive, and once he'd gotten Seer's attention with a direct attack, she dodged behind Seer and sent razor sharp bone slivers firing from her finger tips towards his back. The bone slivers were as sharp as needles and as hard.
