Newspaper comics are notorious for spewing ugly, clichéd elements and humour.

The only comic I still like is Zits.  And the old Charlie Brown re-runs, if they've got them.  Oh sweet nostalgia.

The only newspaper comic I still read regularly is FoxTrot (on Sundays), I'm more of a fan of older comics like Calvin and Hobbes and Peanuts.
