Meee! I watch my little pony I didn't sign up for my little human. Equestria Girls makes it not that bad, but other than that I'm not a big fan of the humanized MLP characters at all. I don't hate it, and I won't bitch at you if you like it or draw it.

Nope, as far as i am concerned the canon versions of the human ponies are just down right awful. IMO they should have made the equestria girls charterers look like this.

But as to my opinion about human ponies, I don't like them.

Dangit.

I actually looked up "hypocrite" on google on how to spell it and still I managed to spell it wrong.

Also there's kind of a difference between anthro ponies and the humanized ones.

Anthro ponies just have a human body shape.

Everything else is basically the same.

Firstly, this is just me sharing my personal feelings on the matter; I'm not saying anyone else's feelings or opinions are wrong.

 

I'm not interested in either the anthro or human depictions of Rainbow Dash; I only recognize pony Rainbow Dash as the real Rainbow Dash (and EQG "Dash" is an entirely separate being anyhow).  I'm not interested in the anthro and / or human depictions of the other ponies, either.  It seems as though some people feel more comfortable with the humanized / anthro, but pony Dashie appeals to me because of who and what she is.

 

I said "human" and "anthro" sooo many times lol.  Oh and I've just said them again. xD

Humanized ponies are fine  EXCEPT   EG.  I really don't like their skin colors . it's too weird , thought.

I personally don't like human ponies, EQG or not. I'm also including the human ponies drawn anime style. The anime humans, generally, just look like a normal human with hair colour for the pony's man as well as their eye colour....I don't see how you can call a random looking anime character with pink hair and teal eyes "Fluttershy".  It's not Fluttershy. Though, anime doesn't interest me at all, so I might be biased.

 

Anthro on the other hand, I like...if it's done right that is. There's actually two variations. "anthro and "semi-anthro" Anthro tends to have more human features, whereas semi-anthros tends to have more pony features(like hooves), but BOTH versions stand on two legs like a human, both usually have "fur" along with wings/and/or horn, they also tend to have pony like faces. Whereas human ponies have no pony characteristics to them,whatsoever...no tails, no pony ears, no hooves, no coat, they have skin instead. Sometimes even no skin colour, that would otherwise match their original coat colour.

 

Human=/=anthro  and vice versa.

 

Anthros like this are adorable as fuck,in my opinion.

I love the MLP anthros. But I'm just an anthro fan in general, so that makes sense. The only thing that looks strange on MLP anthros though is that because of the show style, most don't have defined hooves (some of the colts like Big Mac do...). So the girls look like they have legs that go weirdly long without hooves. O_o

I'm usually fine with humanized versions of the ponies. It's rare I like anime/manga styled ones though, but that's mostly because I'm not a huge fan of the anime/manga style in general.

It depends of the artist, there are some awkward looking humanized pics but there are also some really really good ones. One of my person favorites is this humanized Applejack pic, sweet apple cider does she look hot in this pic wow what a woman.

Yeah I'm really not a fan of humanized MLP characters at all (well, most of the time, depending how they are made). I like them just as they are.

I'm not a big fan of them either. I mean, it's one thing if you'd seen these humans on their own, but i guess i was expecting something different considering i know how the character is in the show, and how they turned out in equestria girls. 

 

Fan arts can be pretty cool though.

I am most of the time. Sometimes they turn out poorly. Rarity is the worst when it comes to humanized designs though. Seldom does she ever look good because most artists are trying to make her look older and "handsome" rather than cute. Purple lipstick, while I see what they're going for, is honestly a terrible choice. Every now and then a good one comes along, but she seems to get the short end of the stick when drawn in any way other than a pony.

 

As for the others, I do like humanized and anthro designs depending on the artist's style, and most seem to draw them in a way I find visually appealing.

Sunset Shimmer anthros and humanizes better than anypony, in my opinion. Never seen it turn out poorly.
