Drawing on a Tablet

So, I recently bought an NVIDEA Shield tablet. One of the cooler things it can do is that it has a very precise stylus that won't read your hand when it is active. Like, while you use the styles on a paint app, you can rest your hand on the tablet surface and it won't register your hand as a touch. That's pretty awesome

 

Well, I really want to get into drawing, and I figured I should start with G4 ponies since it's fairly basic and something I am interested in. Only problem is that I don't know any decent art apps on android devices.

 

There is a watercolor app built in. Not happening.

 

I am currently using Autodesk Sketchbook, but it's very difficult to draw without a layer function

 

Do any of you guys or girls use a tablet to draw? If so, can you recommend any art apps?

I use one called PicsArt. You can draw, it has cool types of brushes installed, and it has layers. You can also add images onto it.Its a very useful app for drawing, so I think you should give it a try. And its totally free!

@@The Last Derp, I tried looking it up, all I got was a Photo Viewer and a coloring book looking app. Can you link the play store page?

Thats the link. Yes there is also the photo viewer for it, but its pretty much useless.

GIMP is a good alternative if you do not want to pay for the big names like photoshop, or Paint Tool SAI.

@@Sceethe, WOW, GIMP is actually on android devices. I used to use that when I drew on my desktop. Thanks!
