(referenced in the first episodes since the first actual word she speaks is Surprise!) Twilight Sparkle was going to be just Twilight Applejack (and Spike) they still had the names for The rest ended up with G3 names... Of course if they were the colours we knew perhaps we'd like them better? I mean I Posey Fluttershy has the same colour scheme in that pic, but she looks really weird to me since she doesn't have wings...
