Riley rummaged through his fridge for something to eat. There wasn't much left, considering that the previous night, he'd lay on the sofa in a pair of boxers, stuffing food in his mouth while watching mediocre movies on TV.

 

He saw a note. "Huh? How'd this get here?" he murmured to himself.

 

He read the note, went to the house, met up with everyone, blah blah blah.

Midnight flew as fast as he could to the house and almost broke the door down on account of too much momentum and not being able to slow down. He casually walked in "sorry for being late, I get quite easily distracted- hey is that a copy of daring do and the saphire statue?" He walked towards a nearby bookshelf

Riley went over to the refreshments table and began to stuff his face with tacos.

 

Soon enough, he felt a pressure building up in his abdomen.

 

'I'll just let it out, it feels like it's gonna be a silent one.'

 

Riley pushed, expecting no sound.

 

FFFRRRRRRRRRTTT!

The sound had surely been heard throughout the entire residence, and the stench was already flowing into his nostrils.

being the immature stallion that he was, midnight began laughing at the fart noise "nice one" he said quietly. he walked over to the red stallion. he felt like he knew him from somewhere but he wasn't sure where. he decided to try and make friends and extended a hoof "hey, my name is midnight, what's yours?"

Spirit Watcher heard two new ponies enter. She turned to greet them when one of them farted quite loudly. She quickly flew up and did a few strong gusts of wind and blew the stench out the door. "Next time give a warning. Because I don't want my house smelling like whatever's inside your intestines. Got it?" She said as she landed next to Riley. "Anyway, welcome. You must be Riley, and you Midnight Flash. Am I correct? Of course I am. Anyway, feel free to eat and chat with the other ponies. My name is Spirit Watcher by the way, I'm the one who sent the letters."

Riley was beginning to forget everything that was going on around him. He was too busy giggling and laughing to himself hysterically.

Because, well, let's face it, when you're a colt trapped in a stallion's body, flatulence is considered comedy gold.
