Anala patted Soprano on the back in an attempt to comfort him. "Look, from what I've seen and heard, the 'human' world and this pony world can't be terribly different," she said, doing her best to cheer him up. "And if anyone tries to lay a hoof on you, I'll protect you."

"Sandwiches, Noodles, lollies, apples, pears, crisps, thins, hot chips, maccas, KFC, chicken, ham, vegetables, rice, soy, bean, poison, fat, sugar, ice, biscuits, chocolate, paper, junk, pig, All Bran, bread, wheat, ice cream, fuggets, nuggets, and some sick, disgusting people eat horse and other people. But no one likes those people." Soprano said in one breath, before passing out due to lack of oxygen.

After everypony else had Fallen asleep Slash moved about 500 feet from camp. He still hadn't eaten but he didn't care about food he could go at most two days without it. 

 

As with every night Slash slept alone. Ever since that night so long ago he has had nopony. No friends, No family.

 

"Celestia, iI dont want to be alone." he thought as he lay in the sand. still visible from the fire but far enough to be well out of the light.

"good night..." 

 

Sleep overtook Slash. and then the Nightmare began again.

Anala shuddered when Soprano mentioned "eat[ing] horse and other people", and decided that she would not be taking a trip to that world anytime soon. When Soprano passed out, she nudged him to try and wake him up.

 

She had had to be quick to copy everything that Soprano mentioned down onto a notebook she'd found in his bag.

Soprano slowly woke up. His head was in pain, but he had to get up. He saw Slash about 152.4 meters away from the camp site, struggling in his sleep. He ran to him, and tried to wake him up. He seemed to be having a nightmare. "Wake up!" Soprano screamed, trying to prevent any further panic from him.

Back in Cloudsdale, in his home, Slash played his Hoofboy (Gameboy?) all the time not careing about any pony but himself.

In fact he was under the impression that if his parents made him go outside to play or took away his games they didnt love him.

 

Later that night about midnight he awoke from his sound sleep in his comfy bed. Awoke to the sound of swords and screams. The screams wernt the worst oh no. His mom and dad were already dressed and was fastining their weapons to protect Cloudsdale from the Changlings. "GO BACK TO YOUR ROOM AND HIDE SLASH!!!!! BLOCK THE DOOR!!!!!!" said his dad without a word Slash Galloped back to his room, slammed and locked the door. there he waited......and waited......for what felt like forever. finally the sun started to rise. 

 

Slash unlocked the door. "Mom? Dad?" he called as he walked down the clouds formed like stairs. "MOM? DAD?" Out the front door he ran "MOMMY!!!???? DADDY!!??? he could not see them anywhere nor had anypony else. 

 

Slash was overcome with 12 years of guilt all at once. You just dont know what you have till you lose it. The night before Slash lost everything. Now time to end it all. He broke into a gallop straight towards the edge of cloudsdale. 

 

And he jumped. 

 

Being awoken is not a plesent thing for Slash. He aimed a hoof at random to the right and to the left trying to get whatever or whoever off. (SLAM) Slash's hoof connected with something. He didnt know what nore did he care. "Run," he thought "Just Run" 

and so Slash ran still half asleep. Not really knowing what was going on.

 

the bandage on his wing came off when he got up. Slash didn't notice. did anypony?

Soprano, who was just hit in the face, started to chase Slash. "Wait, I'm trying to help you!" Soprano yelled, before collapsing, having a seizure-like event. This was due to his hybrid human-pony genetics; they were 'conflicting for power' so to speak. Soprano started yelling out random gibberish.

Tripping over a shell Slash face-plants eating a lot of sand. (Cough, Spit) then says, "huh? What happend?" standing he looks around and sees the strange pony convulsing Slash runs over to help "Hey are you ok?" remembering one time where the medic ponies in Ponyville had dealt with the same thing. 

 

Slash gently rolled the pony on his side so he didn't choke. "Crap baskets," he said then thought to himself "ok stay calm theres nothing i can really do except keep him on his side." (gulp.) "i wonder what did this?"

Soprano was still having the human-pony genetic seizure, and it was getting worse. His body starting to change from pony to human, but not completely. His genetics were all over the place. "HELP" he yelled in pain.

"OH CELESTIA WHATS GOING ON?!?!?!?!" Slash yelled, not sure of what he was seeing he tried to ask what to do but couldn't understand anything but the word help. 

 

Still trying to keep him from getting anymore injured Slash looked around the only pony he saw was Skyla but she was still asleep, "could this mare sleep through a Changeling attack?" he thought.

 

Realizing that he was the only pony around all he could do was watch as this horrible scene unfolded in front of his eyes.......

Soprano suddenly woke up, as a human. He was dazed and confused, but could still stand up, and open his briefcase he had next to him for medical supplies. Gameboy, no. Camera, no. Computer, no. He finally found his 'medication'. He took it, before he noticed Slash staring at him.

Blaze came back from the camp and looked at what was going on. "Shot...what the he'll is happening Slash" Blaze Asked seeing something happen to Soprano before hearing complete jibberish. "Shit. He is having a seizure now..." Blaze said going through the medkits. " He need to calm down try to get him to stop shaking so he can get himself back in order..." Blaze said as he grabbed some thing that helped deal with seizures from the merlot.

Regaining his composure Slash stood up "Who and what are you? What just happend? Im so confused"

looking down the beach and seeing Skyla still sleeping. "Yep she could definitely sleep through a Changeling attack." grinning now he asked pointing a hoof at the things on the humans hoofs, "what are those things on your hooves?"

Soprano was getting very stressed by the others. He had no idea why, but he was getting VERY scared, so he did the bravest thing, and ran off into the forest, bringing his briefcase with him. What he didn't know, was that it was still open, and his Gameboy, a hard drive, and a programming book fell out.

Soprano was panting heavily. He didn't know why he was a human again, but he was. "Well, at least i'm not a horse. That's always good." Soprano said. He checked that his whole body was human. Yep, 100% human. Well, he was still a human / pony hybrid, but he was human at the current point in time.

Soprano started to walk back to the group, before he had another genetic seizure. He screamed in pain, before he fell to the ground. The seizures seemed to be very frequent, and were getting worse. If only he could control the genetic seizures...
