Well, the digital versions are of course still being sold on Comixology and iTunes (through iBooks), but as for physical versions...it's hard to say. You can probably find it through places like EBay and maybe even Amazon.

This was pretty pathetic. Just a poor man's Ponyville Confidential. And the ending was just horrendous. Glad I didn't waste any money on it.

Plus the CMC come off as TERRIBLE petty. Like, They are diamond tiara level bad. This is just pure vindictive bitchery, because Appleblooms getting a little miffed at Sunset spending time with AJ.

That's like a Yandere level respone there: And the other CMC have no reason to do this except out of pure pleasure in ruining other people's days. Seriously :/

 

 

 

This was just an utterly terrible comic, from start to finish. The only things I really found any enjoyment at were fluttershy's insane response to being able to play as a fluffy rabbit in the video game, and Rainbow dash's Terrible book reports/tests as her shame.

The Equestria Girls Holiday Special 2014 is a terrible comic. There are so many things wrong with it. Where to begin?

 

- Everyone (except Sunset) is written as incredibly mean-spirited, cynical, negative, unfriendly, confrontative, and downright unlikable. The Mane 6 denounced Sunset as their friend over an absurd rumor. They were made to look like complete fools, as they were stupid enough to believe that some anonymous person posting anonymous pictures for the sake of embarrassing fellow students would have the balls to use a real picture of themselves as their avatar. It was blatantly obvious that Sunset was being framed. How the Mane 6 didn't realize this, I have no idea. Their cruel verbal assault on Sunset (which made her cry) was mean and out of character.

 

- The entire story is a shallow rehash of the "Gabby Gums" storyline. Why they felt the need to rehash this dead storyline (in a much worse manner), I once again have no idea.

 

- Some of the panels were lazily drawn. Look at this:

 

 

Remind you of something? Anyone familiar with Dragon Ball Super will know what I'm talking about: the infamous 5th episode's animation. Anything that reminds me of episode 5 of Dragon Ball Super is not something I'd recommend.

 

 

 

 

- This comic paints blatant bullying as a small problem that can just go away at a moment's notice. It fails miserably in regards to addressing a real issue in a mature way.

 

- It managed to start off lighthearted, and had a bit of potential. The first two slumber parties were charming enough. Then, the real story kicks in and it never recovers.

 

I could go on, but I'll just leave it at that. That's just the beginning of this comic's issues. My advice? Just don't read it. It sucks.
