Eh, I'll stick to my trusty nVidia GT 740 graphics card. It can play Fallout New Vegas on ultra high setting affluently.

 

Even when rendering like thirty NPCs, good for causing mayhem via console commands. ^.^

So, today, this kid in my Government class tried telling me that the only good games on PC were ones like "Diablo" and "World of Warcraft" and that consoles were better for everything else   I lel'd

AMD GPUs are great pieces of hardware, it's their drivers that suck. Apparently the Omega Driver fixed a lot of issues older drivers have, which is great, but I don't know if the black screen issue is still there or not.

I could use some advice here.

 

I think something is up with my Steam account(it won't let me buy anything) but support won't answer my ticket.

Have you added steam funds through a credit card recently? Same thing happened to me with CS GO skins and it turns out it was an anti stolen account measure that took a week to wear off...

Nope, it's the same card I've been using the whole time(I've probably bought $200+ worth of stuff without incident)

Tried a different credit card? Or pay using a Steam gift card?

 

Yeah, I might grab a $20 card to grab that and keep those cheap under-$1 games covered until they fix it.

Battlefield Hardline is already discounted on G2A before release xD

40 bucks for a preorder on a triple-a game is a great deal no matter how you look at it. Personally I wanna try the beta [coming out on feb 3] before pre ordering but I can imagine myself liking it.

Just be wary with gray market sellers like G2A and Kinguin. There's a chance the keys you buy from them are illegitimate and will be removed from your Steam, Origin or Uplay libraries upon them being found out as being illegitimate.

This is a first party G2A key. G2A is known to be one of the few legit key sellers out there.

As of now, I only trust Bundlestars and Humble Bundle as far as third-party sellers of Steam keys.

Do they give you a key for it or what?

 

I'm seriously thinking about nabbing that Sleeping Dogs for $10.

So I'm still debating whether I should buy a laptop or build a desktop, but if I build a desktop I would like it to fit in a carry-on bag (10x16x24 inches) while supporting double graphics cards. Does anyone know some reasonably priced PC cases that fit these requirements? Thanks

What's you're total budget for this endeavor?

 

For a case, I got a Tesseract Deepcool(a bigish case that even comes with two exhaust fans) for $35 and it's pretty cool.

 

 

Nabbed Sleeping Dogs, looks like Green Man does keys as well because that's how they gave it to me(it did work, BTW)
