I got to see her about 5:30 am cdt just south of Chicago traveling west across I80 It surprised me because I had been up since 2am and she was in full moon. Then I lost her behind some clouds then finally saw her again with just a sliver of light showing.... Freaking awesome!!! The Crimson Cross 7,533 October 8, 2014 Share October 8, 2014 Yep. Luckily it was at around 9pm for me! Saw the full eclipse and at its maximum, though it didn't look all that red to me. More like an explosion happened on one side of the moon. Next time I'll probably use a telescope or something! Now with more added tea leaves!
