As she sees Beta coming towards the water, Stormlight swims towards him and stays next him as she gives a smile.

 

Stormy encourages him saying, "It's okay if you're not a great swimmer...I too had trouble learning how to swim, to the part where I almost felt like drowning, heh"

 

She rubs her neck as she remebered that one dark memory, giving her shivers.

As she sees Beta coming towards the water, Stormlight swims towards him and stays next him as she gives a smile.

Beta is at this point shivering from the ice cold water. He looks over at Stormlight and sees that she is also freezing from the cold, frigid water. Or at least he thought at first. He then realized she was getting the shivers. "So, why are you getting the shivers exactly?"

"Well, that one memory will forever be planted in my brain. And then there's always paranoia that something will try to drag me to the bottom of the ocean...but I tend to not think about it that much" Stormlight sighs and stops shivering.

 

The water was near her face, she lowers herself and makes her eyes the only thing above the clear water. Like a shark she slowly swims around her prey, or in this case, Beta.

 

She was having fun, especially when he was with her.

Beta stands in the water trying the hardest to get used to it. It takes him quite a while just to get used to the water. His body was not really built to withstand cold blasts, especially ones from water. He turns around and sees Stormlight swimming around him. He decided to have a little fun, so he splashed her.

As Beta splashed her with water, Stormlight couldn't help but do the same at him. Getting suprised like that made her laugh and continues to splash him with water, making his mane more soaking wet.

 

"Hehe, take that!" She exclaims and dives downwards.

 

Quickly, she shoots back to the surface and flips her mane away from her face.

Beta is now drenched with water. He then decides to try ad perform a sneak attack. He somehow manages to get behind Stormlight. He slowly sneaks up to Stormlight, very quietly and showing stealth. He then gets his hooves ready and performs a splash sneak attack.

Stormlight thought she was done getting suprised, but she thought wrong. Clueless, she looks at her grey hooves and plays around with them by flapping them slowly. This made her giggle and makes sound effects as she continued.

 

"Hehe, fweee!"

 

But it was too late to dodge anything, as Beta was right there behind her, getting ready to attack.

With all of his might, Beta gave her a great big splash. He saw that Stormlight had gotten drenched from all of the water. "Ha ha ha, how did you enjoy the little splash Stormy? " Beta asked, feeling quite confident and playful in the process of having fun with his fiance.

Slowly, Stormlight turned around and shakes her head to remove some water from her mane.She looked up at Beta and gave a sly grin, thinking of ways to return the favor.

 

"Oh, I enjoyed it all right. Just remember what happened today, it may result in something that's bound to occur in the future."

Upon hearing this, Beta got his defenses ready to go. He knew that at some point today, Stormlight would come by and have her revenge. Beta knew he had to be ready for it. "Ok then Stormy. So, wanna get out of this freezing water and go relax in the warm sand?"

"Sure, whatever you say Beta..." Stormlight gave him an innocent smile as they slowly went back towards the sand.

 

She was still soaking wet, so she shook herself to dry a little. And suddenly, she sees a little baby crab walking around the sand. She thought it was the cutest animal she's seen today.

 

Slowly, she smiles at it and had permission to grab him.

Beta found all of the beach stuff he had prepared and started setting up more. He had packed a nice picnic lunch in a

Picnic basket. He grabbed the picnic basket and started setting up the delicious hay sandwiches he had planned for the both of them to eat.

Trying to be stealthy, Stormlight hid the baby crab somewhere Beta wouldn't see it. She walks towards him and look at the picnic basket. Then, her stomach growled.

 

"Whew, I sure am hungry!" she lets out continuing to hide the crab.

 

Waiting, she decides whether or not the crab is a good way of revenge.

Trying to be stealthy, Stormlight hid the baby crab somewhere Beta wouldn't see it. She walks towards him and look at the picnic basket. Then, her stomach growled.

 

"Whew, I sure am hungry!" she lets out continuing to hide the crab.

 

Waiting, she decides whether or not the crab is a good way of revenge.

Beta just keeps looking down at the picnic basket with the hay sandwiches in them. "I sure am hungry too. I've prepared us a delicious hay sandwich picnic lunch for us to eat. So, you can take any one you want and we shall enjoy this fine lunch on this trip to the beach.

Carefully, Stormlight chose the hay sandwich she wanted to eat. She could slightly feel the crab crawling her, making her feel a bit ticklish.

 

Please, stop... she tries to tell the crab.

 

Maybe she could trick him into placing the animal on top of the sandwich right before he eats it. She went for it.

 

"Oh look! Seagulls!" she points at the opposite direction.

Beta was confused for a second. There are always seagulls in a beach location so her yelling out for a seagull seems weird and suspicious. He then thought they might be a special kind of seagull that's rare or something. He looked over to see there was nothing there.

Remembering that she only had a limited amount of time, Stormlight planted the baby crab in Beta's sandwich by making it stick out where he would notice before actually taking a bite. She then shrugged it off and said,

 

"Wha? I was sure I saw something...oh wells, must've been my imagination." she lies.

Beta then shrugged the seagull thing off, and went to back to the most important task at hand, eating his sandwich. He couldn't wait to eat the delicious hay sandwich wit hall of its hay goodness. Without looking, he took a bite. But what he tasted wasn't hay sandwich, but a crab, "YOWWWWCH!"

Upon hearing Beta yelling, Stormlight looked up from her sandwich and sees the little crab hanging from his lips with its tiny pinchers. She snickers and tries to remove the animal and back to where it belongs, in the beach.

 

"Welp, I didn't call for that to happen, but I still gotcha back! So, ha!" the mare jokes with a laugh to go with it.

Beta sees the crab and hears what he says. He would be ticked off at this, but it was all for light hear-ted fun. So he did the appropriate thing and laughed along with it. "Oh, you sure did get me back. Now lets just sit back, relax and enjoy our delicious lunch.

Satisfied of the result, Stormlight nodded and took a bite of her hay sandwich that Beta made for her and himself. It was a delicious lunch to enjoy on the beach, with her fiance right beside her. The sun was beaming down on the beach, but she didn't care. What did was what Stormlight felt throughout the days she's beeen together with him.

Beta continued to eat his most favorite sandwich with his most favorite fiancé.

It was such a dream come true for him eating a sandwich on a beach with his future wife. He quite enjoyed it almost as much as sitting in his room on a cold night playing video games wrapped in a blanked.

Fascinated, Stormlight watches the waves crash into the land and quickly retreating back to the ocean. It was calm and loud, as if it wasn't loud already with the other ponies enjoying a day at the beach. She feels the inside of her wings slowly becoming dry again, but she always enjoyed just plain relaxing from flying all the time.

Beta saw the waves crashing and how the sun reflected on the water as the waves crashed. He didn't know why but it just looked musical to him. He thought of singing a song of love to Stromlight. He sung a really romantic song about the beach dedicated to her.

Stormlight couldn't help but blush as Beta serenated her with a song. She didn't think anypony would to that for her, but now it was true, he did. She gives a shy yet happy smile, showing she was impressed of his singing, and that she enjoyed all that he did for her ever since their first date. Her heart feels jumpy as he continued to sing.
