Gale wasn't hurt much by the sound, but she still cast a healing spell on herself and the others. She then launched a fireball at the cerberus.

Myst's armor was shaking too much for him to move properly so he took cover behind a pillar. The rocks that sheltered him weren't stable, he needed to move but it was too late. The pillar collapsed on top of him, leaving him venerable to the hell hounds clutches. Each head took an individual bite out of him and his body shattered like glass.

 

"NO!" Humbug stopped her hymm and started crying. The mare now ceased to stand, but her strength left her eyes open. "Gale, Gale! Get behind me now!"

 

The mare's rage was effervescent, she planted her hooves once more and coerced her body into accepting the pain to come. "Humm...mmmm...Mmmmmm....MMMmmmm...MMMMM." Her avatar shook until it was only a green blur, the only stable thing was her health bar, which rapidly went from green to orange then red. Cerberus took 25% percent of his max health in damage. She chugged health elixir, using her megaphone as a funnel. Humbug prepared her exhausted body once more...

Tempest mentally cursed and felt his anger rise. "Hum, take a break. Gale and I can handle this thing." He said in a slightly concerned tone. The bat pony then charged forward, not caring if he was hit, and drew his swords. The blades glowed and crackled with electricity as Tempest himself was surrounded in a dark energy. "One has already fallen. There won't be another." He roared as he lunged at the hound and drove his blades into its thick hide.

 

Gale noticed Tempest's change in demeanor and was slightly scared. "Is that a sword art?" She thought. The dragoness then pushed that thought to the side and began to heal Humbug and Tempest.

"Okay, I'll... I'll think I'll rest now. Humbug arrested herself to the floor, the cold tiles gave her some comfort that kept her mind off the guilt. She killed some pony, unintentionally however, but it was still her fault. All her fault. "I can't risk this again. I just can't. From now on, no more other party members. I work alone, I won't be able to harm anything else If I do." She said to herself

Gale glanced at Humbug and put a paw on her shoulder. "It wasn't your fault and I doubt he blames you for what happened." She said.

 

Tempest grit his teeth as he was thrown off of Cerberus and the beast charged at Gale and Humbug with a reckless abandon."No. Stay away from them." Tempest roared as he threw one of his dual swords at the beast, hitting it in one of it's hind legs, making the beast moan in pain and shift its focus to Tempest. The two charged at each other and the bat pony leaped into the air, driving his sword into the center head's skull. The beast roared in pain and fell to the ground, limp and cold. The black aura around Tempest died and his swords disappeared back into their holsters as he fell to the ground, exhausted.

"I'm going ahead of you guys... Don't follow... please. I won't take your word for it, because I took care of... ponies... before all this. I should know whether its my fault or not." Humbug warped to the next level and continued her journey on her own.

 

"This place is new..." The 3rd floor was a barren desert, laden with canyons, dunes and cacti.

Dusk come back we are about o do a dungeon...and we already lost a party memeber because of you" Raven said though he sighed when Dusk probably didn't hear him. "If he kept his mouth shut and didn't threaten Trinity we could have been though the dungeon...follow me in if you want Celly but I'm not waiting on anyone" Raven said

Raven only glared. "YOU ARE NOT FIGHTING THE BOSS BY YOURSELF" Rave snapped. "Yes we have enough and her weapon is find...quit thinking you know everything and you are better you cannot beat the boss on your own Dusk you almost got killed last time trying to defeat that queen on your own" Raven said. "We dont need protecting all the time we an fight so stop trying to be a hero"

Gale sighed and put Tempest on her back, before continuing to the next area. It wasn't long before she found a small town within the sprawling desert. She then rented a room and laid Tempest on the bed. "Hopefully you get better soon." She thought. "We're a team and I won't leave you."

 

Tempest groaned as he drifted through his subconscious. "Haven't I been through this enough?" He thought to himself.

"...and the mare, with brevity and bravery, slayed all of the scorpions with the might of her steel and vocals. This heroine was unstoppable, unrelenting and unfazed until she saved them all. Because, All of them had to be saved. Everyone deserves a second chance at life. Even you little fillies." Her book item was empty of text, but it exempted her from revealing the source of the story: Truth. Many foals who ventured to level up often turned up missing, so it was law that they stay in the safe zones. The lot stayed, the ones who disobeyed were 'grounded'.

 

Humbug smiled by their smiles, She only allowed herself the bare minimum of survival. Any luxury was given to the children, who missed their old life and parents more than she did. The mare gave it her all, leveling up, she only spent money on better armor and health potions. Nothing cosmetic. As her old profession of foal sitting, though she hated it, it seemed natural to her. For the nights she couldn't sleep, she hummed like a wolf to the moon. On top of the roofs of the inns she didn't rent. She was the talk of the towns. Code name: The Hymn.

Humbug took time to combine in game mechanics with her own special talent. Her hymn attacks now emanated a white rings and signaled the damaging area affected. It gave her a damage boost, due to accurately following the damaging systems in place.

Dusk looked at them seriously , his body is flowing with drk aura.

 

And also , I found a cave for shelter in case we need it.

"You a a bucking idiot" Raven said before going into the dungeon on his home before killing the monsters with ease as he held the weapon. "I hope Dusk gets beaten to a near death situation with the way he is acting he'll end up killing himself and dying"

When Tempest woke, Gale explained what had happened in terms of how the two got in a room in a inn. The two then decided to do a few quests around the village and grind for experiance for the next few hours. It wasn't long before their reputations grew. Gale had taken the nickname "Dragon of the Night", while Tempest was simply known as the "Aura Swordsman". The two knew that others would most likely target them to bolster their own reputation, but were basically unstoppable as long as they were together.

Raven was slashing all the monsters in one hit before arriving at the boss gate. He grabbed Dusk and looked at him. "Dusk we need to work together on this one this time alright...I am going to make sure no one dies and that means you can't go in there expecting to win straight away" Raven said

Defeat Darude.  Humbug traversed the scarred sands of the third floor to find the boss arena. The recommended level she surpassed but the quest marker still portrayed its difficulty to be very hard. Humbug wasn't worried a single bit however. She had high enough health regeneration and the stockpile of health potions didn't hurt to have either. Her armor heed been cotton and leather, because having metal could backfire considering friendly fire. The green mare came across another pair of scorpions which were quickly dispatched with  three sonic blasts. There was a change in the terrain ahead: Sand turned slick glass.

 

"I must be here."

 

A large roar came up behind her.

 

"Shit."

"Ok guys first we calm down, don't rush this, take our time, try not to get hit, and be very carful" Cecilia said sounding irritated. She was only irritated because the two keep fighting, she wish that they would just stop and calm down for once. "Ok really really careful, just be nice and calm" Cecilia whispered to herself calmly.

Tempest smiled as he sat on top of a hill overlooking a canyon. He was leaning against Gale's side and he could tell the dragoness was enjoying the desert heat. "We've come so far in such a short amount of time. "At this rate, we 'll be at floor 100 in no time." He thought to himself. The bat pony then began to think about his last boss fight. What was that weird technique he used. He didn't know, but he enjoyed using it for some odd reason. Tempest then shook his head to clear his thoughts and glanced at Gale. "We should probably head to the dungeon." He said.

 

Gale nodded slightly and the two headed out.

After finally killing the bosses on both the first and second floor the three arrived on the third floor being higher levels and having better equipment then what they had before.
