So, there's one more episode of Doctor Who Season 8 left, 2 if you count the Christmas special. What is your favourite episode in this season, and why?

I think 'Listen' was my favourite episode this season, possibly my favourite New Who episode that isn't a special. I also laughed my heart out at Robot of Sherwood and The Caretaker. Honestly, I wouldn't rate a single episode below 7.5/10 this season!

Listen was a brilliant piece of fiction by any standards. I'd easily rank it within the top twenty Doctor Who episodes, and as the preceding episodes from the season were lacking a little, it made up for all of that in spades.

Listen. It was a very simple yet very effective story, and the ending made me tear up.

 

Second favorite is Flatline. Enjoyed seeing Clara take charge of a mystery and the enemy was very new.

 

The finale is looking great too.

 

Definitely one of the best Doctor Who series ever.

I'm so far behind on Doctor Who, but of what I've seen I'd have to go with Time Heist.

 

Listen would have been my favorite...if not for that awful ending.
