books 100% Freeza vs Namek SSJ Vegeta

Vegeta actually goes SSJ after his final zenkai on Namek and fights Freeza, who powers up to 100%. Planet busting isn't allowed. 

 

I think Freeza wins. He was able to fend off and hold his own against a raging SSJ Goku, who would be much stronger than Vegeta in this scenario. Freeza does have strain, but he can kill Vegeta before that kicks in, judging by the fact that he knocked Goku the fuck out with Nova Strike and was shocked Goku survived it

If Vegeta had gone Super Saiyan for real he would've destroyed Frieza.

EDIT: No wait I take that back. I used my head and did some figuring and Vegeta was stronger than Frieza in form 2 after being healed by Dende. Goku's Power Level as a normal Saiyan after being healed in the healing capsule was 350,000 and was 15,000,000 after going Super Saiyan and 100% Frieza's maximum power level is 12,000,000. So if you take Vegeta's power level as a normal Saiyan after being healed at near death by Dende of 2,000,000 and multiply with a Super Saiyan increase you get 10,000,000. It would be a pretty close fight. Frieza would have the upper hand for awhile but I think that would change since it was stated that his power level gradually decreases after he hits 100%. If we're talking about the Vegeta who dessimated Android 19 though then Vegeta stomps.

Under what justification? Goku made Vegeta look like a weakling and even his SSJ was hard pressed to beat Freeza until the 100% took its toll on Freeza. Vegeta is much weaker than Goku and doesn't have the luxury of being able to try to outlast Freeza. Vegeta's rib cage will be impounded by Nova Strike

Little issue with your power levels...they're wrong. The 12 million and 15 millon figures are mistranslations(they make no sense anyway). The actual numbers are 150 million and 120 million. Also, Vegeta should be stronger than Third Form Freeza. However, lots of people debate the 120 million for Freeza, myself included, because that kind of power level gap, a 1.25x gap should allow Goku to wreck him(Cui vs Vegeta is a similar gap). But he didn't. Freeza is bouncing back from Goku's attacks and landing his own. Goku had the edge, but it's not a huge one and he's still sweating to beat him. Even when he's trying to kill Freeza with the Kamehameha, Freeza is able to break free and slam Goku into the ground. I tend to have 120 million as Freeza's strained power, it makes more sense.  

 

Also, Goku is at 3 million after the healing chamber. 

 

I see Vegeta at around 125 million in terms of power level if he went SSJ on Namek, which isn't enough to deal with a healthy Freeza. Even a strained one could prove a huge challenge

Ah ok no wonder my calculator put my estimate at 100,000,000 instead lol. But anyway yeah it would be close but I still think Vegeta would win.

I'm going by the anime though not the manga.

I did some figuring about that too and my calculations told me that he was stronger. Why? I'm sure you're going to ask. Well for example when Goku fought Cell in the Cell games they were pretty evenly matched for awhile. But when Goku fought Broly he was being thrashed around like a ragdoll. Also, When Goku hit Cell with his Kamehameha it destroyed half of his body. But Broly on the other hand took it point-blank right to the face in Movie 8 and emerged completely unscathed. So there you have it. Broly is stronger than Cell.

I'm a complete noob to the manga I admit but I'm quite a geek when it comes to the anime. I'm a major DBZ expert in that regard. My friends even have told me so.

Wait what? But you just said yourself that Vegeta would be at 125 million while Frieza would be at 120 Million... So why would he not win?

Well for example when Goku fought Cell in the Cell games they were pretty evenly matched for awhile. But when Goku fought Broly he was being thrashed around like a ragdoll. Also, When Goku hit Cell with his Kamehameha it destroyed half of his body. But Broly on the other hand took it point-blank right to the face in Movie 8 and emerged completely unscathed. So there you have it. Broly is stronger than Cell.

Little issue. Cell was holding back immensely when he fought Goku. He powered up when he fought MSSJ Gohan and then went full power against SSJ2 Gohan. There's a lot of room in there for him to be Broly level. Typically, people rate Broly in Movie 8 as about equal to Full Power Bojack and Perfect Cell. Movie 10 Broly is more around Super Perfect Cell

120 million is Freeza's power level after getting tired, which isn't going to be an issue. I have Freeza's power level more around 140 million while he's fresh, which makes more sense, as he was able to deadlock Goku, but Goku was landing more hits. This is the quote I feel best supports that

Context: after Goku dodges his homing blast
Freeza: “An afterimage, huh?...You’re pretty good, aint’cha?...”
Goku: “Like I thought, I don’t have any desire to fight you as you are now…With you pinning your hopes on a worthless technique like that…If you really want to settle the score with me, recover your stamina and polish your skills.”
Freeza: “Yo-you’re calling my technique worthless?...Well then, how about two of them?!”

 

Goku doesn't say Freeza is too weak to battle him, he says that Freeza doesnt have good stamina and is rusty in the skill department
