Fishy Stick 7,884 November 21, 2014 Share November 21, 2014 I've never met any Bronies. Probably because I have hardly any friends. The only Bronies I know are on these forums. AlbaTross 1,586 November 21, 2014 Share November 21, 2014 Aside from the people on this forum, and the people who attended Brony Can, I can't say I've seen too many. My friend and I started watching the show together, so he is a Brony I know in real life. Judging by some of the comments so far, I'm fortunate in that regard. One of my fellow volunteers at the group at my church for kids in grades 5-8 came one day in a Rainbowdash shirt. I kind of missed my opportunity to ask if she's a Pegasister, and I'm a closet Brony, so I haven't exactly confided in anyone about liking FiM. One day earlier this year a guy in a Rainbowdash shirt came to my church, but I think it was for a baptism Sunday and haven't seen him since. I think I had only just started watching the show at that point too, so I didn't talk to him. On a side note, it seems Rainbowdash shirts are the most common means I've seen of identifying a Brony. Heck, two sisters in the kid's group I mentioned showed up in matching Rainbowdash shirts, but they're in the intended demographic for the series and so probably can't be considered Pegasisters, and I kept that observation to myself, since I haven't exactly brought it up with any people my age. sweetolebob18 728 November 21, 2014 Share November 21, 2014 Zero & that counts me. I'm no brony, I'm just a guy who started watching cartoons in the 1950s. I never saw a reason to stop & so I never did. This is my current #3 after South Park & Futurama,, just ahead of the Simpsons. Saw that 71% still live w their parents. My mother has been dead about 5 yrs, my dad about 12 (cigarettes got them both -eventually). Thus, I do not currently stay at their place, but I expect to move back w them some day. Although, hopefully, not some day soon As to why I like it, I think it is their message of hope & self reliance. It reminds me of old time cartoons (pre 1960s stuff)
