Looking at the picture without reading the post doesn't look like a cat pony hybrid, maybe if you add whiskers and like a little cat nose it would make the picture look more like a cat. Other than that it looks good! thanks I'll have to give the nose a try though I feel as though whiskers may be a bit too detailed. I'm thinking of swapping the hair to a flat color too. I was going for a rather flat cartoony feel for this one which is why I chose to leave them off though I think I have got a new way to do shading now so I think i'm improving.
