writing The Unending fog

This is just something I wrote out in a few minutes...I'm not sure how good it really is, but...I'll put it here for now, this is just the intro to the story, currently, the story has no ending...we'll see if it has a good one.

 

As long as I've been in this place, all I could see was fog in front of my face. The fog kept me from seeing what lied beyond, I couldn't see it, but I knew there lie something I needed somewhere in there. A treasure untold by any man I knew. The fog starches on forever, and all I can see is feint thing in the fog.

 

The more I wander in the fog, the more lost I feel I become, or maybe I'm getting closer to the treasure inside. I just couldn't know, at times I would give up the search. Only to resume again. I find things in the fog that almost look a great treasure, but they turn out to be the opposite.

 

Every clearing I reach and pass, my faith starts to wain. But something in the fog is pulling closer, he has to find it. Or he may never be able to go back. So I trek on, not knowing where the fog will lead me next.

 

It's been so long since I've seen anything worthwhile here in the fog, everything I've seen has been less than I imagine. But this clearing, the clearing that's brighter than most others, it has to be it, right? As I venture into it, I find pain, but longevity. It confuses me, so I stay, and find what this clearing has to offer me.

 

I've been here for a long time, I think the fog is getting lighter. But I'll have to stay here a while longer, maybe being here is the best thing. Or maybe I should venture back into the fog and wander aimlessly again. No, it's best I stay, maybe if I do the fog will lift and the path shall show itself.

 

It will take time, but I shall wait, I feel like i can almost see again, just a while longer, here, in the brightness, the warm and comforting light.

 

I won't leave here, not anytime soon.
