How would I go about turning text into a clickable link on this site? Like having the text highlight in blue, and you click on it, and it takes you to that link, but the text replaces the URL for the link if you know what I mean, I have it in my signature if you want an example, but I've forgotton how to do it.

Ok, so how you do this is you type in the text you want to use, you highlight it, click on the little chain button with the plus button on it on the toolbar, then paste in the url in the url part then press ok, and you should have your link there.

First you highlight whatever you written. Next you press the Link Button that's below the Text Size button. Then you paste the URL. Press okay and then you have turned the text into a clickable link. I hope that helps. ;)

Type whatever you want the link to be called.

For example; deviantart

Now (when you've copied the link you want onto your clipboard) see that little chain icon with a green plus symbol just below the text size option? Click on it.

Now paste your link into the space provided.

And your word will now look like this: deviantart

Regarding these answers, this is the button they're referring to:

Or, if you prefer BBCode like me,

[url="link"]Replacement text[/url]

.

Another good answer, and an alternative option.
