How would Fluttershy react on these forums?

Well, she's shy, I think we all know that. So that makes me wonder how would she react when it comes to trying to talk on these forums? Would she post a lot, or anything at all? Do you think she would be too shy to post?

Annnnnd (this goes for all the ponies) how would they react to shippings? Espically with Fluttershy, since she'd be too shy to try that stuff I believe...

Thoughts?

There are a lot of shy people here who are actually surprisingly outspoken since there's little consequence for the things you say online. I imagine Fluttershy would be the same way.

I think if Fluttershy saw fan creations where she was more forward it would encourage her to be that way in her daily life too. She has difficulty overcoming her timidity but it could be a sort of inspiration given the right circumstances.

Or because it's the internet she'll learn to not be a total pushover. You get over that sort of thing real quickly when everything you say is criticized on a daily basis here. MLPForums is no exception.

True, true. We could bring back assertive and scary Fluttershy in that case! :P

And it would be pretty interesting to see if she became like ...some... of the fan art out there ;)

Well I'm usually really shy and barely ever talk around new people. Life is very different when a computer is involved because I can talk all I want She would be similar to how Fluttershy could sing but not in front of a crowd.

I think it's different for a shy person to interact on the internet. Sure there's alot of people, but they're not really looking directly at you :P I think Fluttershy would post moderately, not as much as a truly active person would, but I don't think she would be a complete loner :) Plus I'm sure she'd love to see the cute pictures people post of her :squee::kindness:

This thread is implying she'd actually sign up to a forum full stop, the most I could see her making an account for is a site like Neopets or something.

My pony OC

If you would like to Roleplay please Private message me, I only like one on one Roleplays cause groups get overwhelming and becoming attention contests, I like to rp with people equally.

I would say she will post a lot on these forums. I myself can be shy at times and struggle with conversations yet I have my say in many threads. However, I can see others having a hard time trying to understand her and how she feels since I've noticed MLP ponies having a hard time understanding her. Especially with the shipping and the Fan Clubs because to me, Fluttershy will probably feel scared, get stage fright, and even cry when she see our pictures of her being posted here because we know she struggles with attention at times.

All my life needed was a sense of someplace to go. I don't believe that one should devote his life to morbid self-attention. I believe that someone should become a person like other people.

I really relate to Fluttershy and personally I'm extremely shy in person -- and on the internet, but definitely to a lesser degree. I feel a little more free to speak my mind when I'm writing instead of speaking and I'm not face to face to someone but even so I'm still paranoid. I'm cautious about everything I say and how I say it, god forbid I accidentally offend someone or have someone judge me the wrong way. I tend to take things too personally, it's one of my faults. With my ocd I'm always checking and rechecking for any typoes because of that "everyone is watching me and waiting for me to slip up and then I can never show my face again!" feeling. I avoid internet drama like the plague because, like Fluttershy, I can be very passionate about issues that matter to me (ie: when she's defending animals) and if I let my assertive side out too much it can be scary...also much like Fluttershy, haha. Then when that happens I go crazy and always end up regretting my words/actions later on.

Story of my life...and virtual eyes can be just as scary, especially if one has a vivid imagination and overthinks/worries about everything. Somehow I'm gonna guess Fluttershy would be in the same boat but who knows, maybe she'd be better off and eventually find her confidence. For her sake I would hope so! As for the shipping and fan art, I imagine her reaction could be any one of these: :( or you know, "oh my"...I'm pretty sure she'd struggle with all the attention.

you want some think more scary what  its fluthershy is inside the forum posting as one of us and we don't no it

Annnnd, that's too much MLP for you...

Like the majority said, she more than likely wouldn't be shy considering this is an internet forum. We'd get to see a less shy version of her.

I think Fluttershy can handle the forums easily. Socializing in person and socializing over the web are 2 different things. If you guys ever read that old Murdershy blog, she handles the internet a lot better than in person in that too.

I made an OC! I'm always looking for feedback on her, please have a look and tell me what you think! ^^
