general questions How do i turn links in to text?

For example:

 

make a link say "My OC".

I don't know how other people do it, but the way I do is that I insert a link as normal with the "Link" button

And then I go and edit it through the BBCode Mode so you get something that looks like this (without the spaces)

[ url=http://mlpforums.com/ ] http://mlpforums.com/ [ /url]
 
Then you just switch out the middle pink bit with whatever you want, and it ends up looking like this!

Just type whatever you want the link to look like (in your example, 'my OC') and highlight that text. Then, click on the link icon above your post (looks like a chain with a green plus in the corner, just under the 'Size' selection) and you'll be asked to enter a URL. Do it, and the link should work when you click on the text.
