gaming The true power of Majora from Majora's Mask

this is an on going thought i have had for quite some time and i hope this sparks a good healthy debate for us Zelda Lore nerds like myself.

 

now i am basing partly on this

for those that don't know google is your friend but i'll just assume that for us hardcore fans *far and few i seems* this will be directed to us.

 

 

 

before you even enter clock town "skull Kid"  a playful imp takes your Ocarina and Epona and then proceeds to use Majora's magic to turn link into a Deku scrub  only to be freed by the great fairy. as well as cursing/sealing all four giants and all four area's deku palace, Snow head/peak  zora's cape and Stone tower/ Ikana Canyon  <--- (favorite areas in game) and age reverting  Kafei from a man to a boy. and lets not forget the moon.

 

now this is all brought on by a mire "child" if you will now my adaptation.

 

for sake of argument Zant got hold of Majora's mask or "true form" from Termina and served him,

 

now it is my belief that with Zant's intentions/drive/ own power (from gannon's aid mind you) he could. time travel, bring the moons devastation, cross dimensional boundary's say OOT or TP's time line all this to say that i believe that Majora is the only one that could destroy the Trifore as a whole

 

now discuss my madness of an Idea!

I've always felt that, during Majora's Mask, Majora wasn't ever really using his power to the highest degree, aside from at the very end- kinda like he was holding back from dropping the moon any quicker than he already was. That'd explain why he manages to speed up the moon's descent once Link gets to the top of the Clock Tower- it was always within his capability, but maybe he took his time just to enjoy the gradual descent into chaos that transpired over those three days. At least, that feels to me like something he'd enjoy- otherwise, I don't think he would have bothered with the other few misdeeds he committed.

 

In that case, I think he quite possibly holds more power than even Ganondorf may, if he has enough time to toy around with 'the little people' like that. And bearing in mind the name 'Termina'- derived from terminus, or end- I imagine that Majora would certainly be able to doom and bring about the end of everything, including hope- the Triforce, the Golden Power itself.

 

As for whether he'd be the only one capable of destroying the Triforce, it's hard to say. I wouldn't put it past him to be able to do that, but I think that Ganondorf/Ganon might be able to destroy it too, provided he actually had any interest in doing so. It's harder to tell with him, actually- his goal is different to Majora's (dominion over the world vs its destruction) so of course he wouldn't wield that much power at once like Majora would; only as much as he'd feel apposite for success. Greater things could still be within his reach, though- I've heard that Ganondorf manages to eclipse the world in Hyrule Warriors, so he can certainly affect a world on the same scale as Majora did.

 

That video you added does seem believable, though... I dread to imagine him returning to the series at full power... >_<

true, very true although we see ganon clearly taking what he wants but with no real end other then  i want to be king  while as you said Majora is full of hate and just toying with the "subjects" of his domain until he grows bored kills them and then looks for another host body/move on to say Hyrule and play with them

 

HE NEEDS to come back some how
