Flux headed to the dining area, hoping to have a bite before anypony were there. She didn't feel like having company. She felt restless and agitated which didn't help. Maybe I'm just having a bad day she though. She got herself some food and sat down in a lonely corner on purpose.

Celestia shrugged. "I guess because Luna would have thrown a fit. She's more into the whole 'royalty' title than I am." She walked down the hall. She went into the dining hall, where she saw Flair and Flux. She blinked, smiling. "Hello everypony," she said with a smile.

Steel followed looking around at the books you could tell he was looking for something he took flight and was moving between the stacks of books and looking at every one ((assuming they are stacked pretty high)

Grell plaid by her yawning as well

"His name is leif evergreen" the lead pony said

Luna nodded. "Any idea where he'd be? No pony by that name has been by here that I know of."

 

Lunar began looking at books, amazed by the amount.

 

Seth followed Novel, hoping to help her whenever she needed it.

 

Midnight soon fell back asleep. This time she wasn't awoken by a nightmare right away, but she knew in her subconscious it was soon to come.

"Hello, Princess, having a nice day?. And you, Flair? Flair?" She greeted them but noticed Flair was fixated on his plate. She shrugged and went back to eating. She felt a bit guilty for being so moody when everypony was being so nice to her. She made an effort to be nice to everypony.

The leader nodded "In the out skirts of the crystal empire In a green house" the leader said "please is there any way we can check on him I have to know he's okay" the lead pony said

Grell fell asleep and fitfully slept the nightmare about midnight dying coming back

Chronos walked beside the princess. He went and took a seat before taking off his helmet and set it to the side. He was happy to finally get something to eat, He rarely had breakfast anyways but for some reason he felt hungrier then he usually felt. He started to turn his mind towards the crystal empire and Sombra. He wondered what they would do once they defeated sombra, and hopefully put his head on a pike in the middle of the empire's town square.

Celestia smiled. "I'm okay, I suppose. War takes it's toll on a mare, huh?" she laughed casually, sitting down by Chronos.

 

Lunar looked at a few books, humming to herself.

 

Luna nodded. "I will go. You all make yourselves comfortable here in Canterlot." And with that, she flew off.

 

Midnight was suddenly awoken by a nightmare of a dark, evil Luna attacking everypony. She gasped, her eyes shooting open.

Grell was already awake he was visibly shaken and in a cold sweat he had just woke up from his latest nightmare midnight running from him when she finds out what he is

The leader nodddd and they left

Leif was on his green house sleeping in a hammock lazily

Novel is on a mission. Without a moment of hesitation she goes right for her special collection. She needs to prepare some herbal remedies and study up on battle and healing magic. She scurried around the room. Grabbing books that are within her reach. ((She's a unicorn. But she will never use magic to get a book. Safety stuff. She's had piles fall over due to magic pulling))

Seth follows her. "Anything I can help with, sweetie?" he asks, looking at all the books.

 

Lunar was lost in a book about the history of Canterlot.

 

Midnight groaned, laying back down. "I wish I could shut these stupid nightmares off. I'd love to get some sleep."

 

Luna went back into the castle and headed for the war room. She walked in, uncovering the crystal. Her horn glew as she touched it to the crystal. "Show me Lief Evergreen..." she says, and she's transported to his whereabouts. She blinks, recognizing him. "Are you Lief?"

"Not yet. Just stay in this area or grab some lunch. I Am going to be a while. I don't need books high up yet since I am starting low" she offers him a smile "feel free to read. My books are your books" she felt bad, not wanting to ignore Seth but she really didn't have anything she needs just yet. Though eventually food would be a good thing, since she usually forgets to eat when studyig

Leif groaned "next convoy dosent leave until tonight" Leif said with out opening his eyes he wanted to sleep

Steel found a few book that he was infested in and had them on a stack in his hoof he landed finding a cleanish spot he began reading the books while writting stuff in one of his scrolls

Grell nodded in agreement "only way to is beat the fear"

Seth nodded, looking around. He had no idea what he was going to do. He walked into the kitchen, his stomach growling.

 

Lunar sat by Steel, leaning on him as she read.

 

Luna blinked, frowning. "Leif Evergreen, your refugees sent me to check up on you," she said, nudging him with her hoof. Since it was just her, the magic was stronger, so he could actually feel her.

 

Midnight blinked. "So I'm suppose to just sleep through the nightmares???" she asked, astonished. That would be impossible!

Grell nodded "if it's no longer a fear then it won't bother you" grell said "I knownits tough but irk work as it stand s right know steel has no fear I only have one that recently devolved" grell said

 

Leif rolled over sighing "let me guess an elderly mare said she just had to make sure I was okay" Leif said stretching "tell then I'm fine and tell the elderly mare that the blossom blooms again" Leif said

 

Steel put his wing around her as he went for nook to book and then to his scroll obviously in grossed in what he was doing

Lunar smiled, snuggling into him as she continued to read. This book may have been a history book, but she loved it. She was always intrigued about how the colonies got their start.

 

Luna nodded. "If you want, you can come stay at my sister and I's castle. We'll house you and feed you. We need all the help we can get in defeating him..." she offered.

 

Midnight groaned, rolling over and putting her head on his chest.

Leif thought for a moment "I have one more convey tonight it be nice to have an extra set of eyes then you can show me the castle" Leif said

 

Grell kissed her forehead his breathing was even and his heart at a steady rate he seemed fine "you can do it midnight" grell said nuzzling her

Luna nodded. "Do you need us to send any help with you?" she asked. There was something about this pony... He was cute, yes, but there was something different, and she liked it.

 

Midnight nodded, closing her eyes. She started drifting off to sleep, yawning.

 

Lunar finished the book, picking up another and began reading it.

Leif nodded "only if it's somepony that can handle themselves" leif said "and since you are strong enough to make this happen I'll chose you" Leif said "you'll need to get her before sundown that way I can give you a briefing"

 

Grell nuzzled her drifting off to sleep

 

Steel had nooks open all around him he was reading and writing like a mad pony

(what is with all the side romances, Lunar x Steel, Grell x Midnight, Luna thinks Leif is cute, Chronos is the closest thing Celestia will get to a stallion friend ect. ect! XD this is truly love and war)

 

Chronos looked at the table and thought about the battle, he could see the storm clouds forming over Equestria and the Empire. The battle will either end in the fall of the empire or full scale war. Either way, many ponies may suffer from it if even one thing goes wrong.

(It makes for an interesting story if somepony dies or gets seriously injured or in danger, am I right?)

 

Celestia began eating, smiling at Chronos.

 

Luna blinked. "Oh. Alright. I will be on my way shortly then." And with that, the hologram was gone. She took her horn off the crystal and covered it up. First, she needed to tell Celestia. Surely she will tell everypony where she went. She headed out the door and down the hall.

 

Lunar kept reading.

 

Midnight fell asleep, a very mild nightmare starting. So far, she was able to sleep through it.

Leif nodded and when she disappered leif got back in his hammock and drifted off to sleep he didn't figure she'd be there until a little before sundown

Grell was sleeping deeply and peacefully

Steel was deep into the books he was reading they where all about the super natural and demons

 She found what she needed. Her herbal books. Of course they are always on the top shelf. All her healing related reads were tucked high up out of danger until a time came where she needed them again. She pulled up a stool and reached up to try to get her books, the wobbly stool swaying. Of course she had to do this herself, she does not like somepony else to fetch her books for her. Independence is her way, well it was for some time.

Seth blinked, noticing her. He trotted back over to her. "Here. You're gonna hurt yourself, Novel." He flew up and grabbed the book she was reaching for, handing it to her. "Don't want you breaking that pretty little body of yours," he said with a smile.

 

Luna quickly trotted down the hallway, heading into the dining room.

 

Midnight was sleeping peacefully so far, too.

 

Lunar looked at Steel. She blushed, then kissed his cheek. She hoped he wouldn't be mad for disturbing him, but she wanted to kiss him.

Steel smiled and kissed her before returning to his work for a warrior he seemed to be very good at research

Grell was still peacefully sleeping keeping the nightmare at bay

Leif slept for a while or more accurately attempted to sleep he sighed standing up and making flowers bloom
