Lunar stopped behind Steel, her sword out.

 

Seth blinked, racing out with her. He grabbed her and put her on his back, snapping his wings open and flying off in a flash.

 

Luna continued to fight off the energy, her face twisted in pain and concentration.

Steel walked in and began to murmur in a low voice as a grayish black aura surrounded the book as he began to push the the dark power down as well

Grell ran to the dark power seeing everyoimy in the war room

Leif made small black plants grow they would protect form any magical backlash and various other plants as he began to make a little medicine for pain an

Night Flare noticed Luna's looks and in the void's language cast a counter spell that matched the spell trying to weave itself. "Sol. del. retina!"

 

His form shimmers as three shadows come from his shadow And add their enhancing spells to Night's and Luna's magic. Aurora felt the tug of Midnight and let the shift accure.

 

Soon another spell enacted itself upon the building dark energy attempting to push it back more.

 

Standing where Aurora was is a unicorn who looks to have been through Tarderus itself. Black rings around the eyes. Scratches over the new moon behind a scyth cutiemark.

 

Aurora Midnight says, "Darath Epitima!" The moonshadow lance levitating near her in the crimson glow of her magic.

Novel squeals and holds on tight, not used to flying. The fear in her was growing stronger and stronger by the second, and the power feels stronger to her "Hurry Seth hurry!" She cries, fearing the lives of those who are in the fight with her. They cannot die now

Lunar gasped. "Mother!" she cried, running in and using the same spell Luna is using.

 

Midnight followed, watching in worry. "Please be careful, Luna..." she muttered, ears still low.

 

Seth nodded, flying even faster, getting to the castle in a fourth of the time it usually would. He set Novel down, racing inside, sword in tow.

 

Luna smirked, the dark power beginning to vanish. "Come on you plothole! Get out of here!" she yelled, her magic getting stronger.

Midnight taps the book with her moonshadow lance and some of the dark power he was generating, in the book, is absorbed by the Lance.

 

"Go my void hunters. Strike my Lord's enemies." Says Night Flare.

 

Two of the three look at eachother then dive through his magic giving chase after him. They seem happy to fight.

 

When his magic is gone Night Flare glances to Aurora Midnight And says, "How much longer can you two hold that? Not long I bet."

 

Midnight nods and reverts with a shadow cloud back into Aurora. Aurora is huffing. She says, "It wasn't a new moon. However mother needed us. We can only use our true forms for 5 minutes before we are completely exhausted. It was close."

 

Aurora held the lance to her side just incase he wasn't gone yet.

 

Night Flare prepairs another spell in void magic as well.

Chronos put his hoof on his sword's hilt. He watched as Luna tried to banish the aura. He looked at all the ponies who had gathered in the war room. He looked back to Luna, He was unsure what was about to happen but their was a bad feeling in his gut. He sighed and hoped nothing bad would happen.

Crystal laid on Celestia's back, motionless. It was like he was dead however his heart kept beating to prove that he wasn't. On the outside, Crystal just looked liked a poor crystal pony, but on the inside there was nothing buzzing around. It was just like the start of a puppet show, where the puppets stay motionless until their master made them do a dance or something. The cut on his hoof slowly disappeared into shadows, sealing up his hoof allowing no magic to get into this little crystal pony. Then, like a pony had just lifted strings, Crystal blinked open his eyes, however they were slightly darker than its normal shade. Getting up, slowly and weirdly, he spoke in an emotionless tone: "Wh...What happened?"

Celestia took him to her room and laid him on her bed. She used her magic to banish whatever it was that entered his body. "Luna and the others are in the process of banishing whatever evil thing was in that book."

 

Luna smirked, the aura finally vanishing. "Thank goodness..." she panted, wobbling. She collapsed, completely worn out. She attempted to get up, but failed.

 

Lunar blinked, rushing over to her. "Please don't try to move, mother. You're to weak..." She nuzzled her, using what little magic she had left to help Luna's exhaustion.

 

Midnight blinked, watching Luna collapse.

 

Seth gasped, running over to her. "A-are you alright, m'lady?" His ears were flat.

Novel sees Luna and let's out a cry of fear "stand back!!!" She yells, her healing magic ready in her horn, hooves, and herbs. Novel galloped to the princess, knowing exactly how to deal with dark magic injuries of the sort. "What was the source?" She hurriedly demands, needing an answer quickly before time ran out. Dark magic does not simply vanish that easily

Night also goes over to Luna and offers her a mana restoration potion. He says, "It has been too long, mother. I still remember your song. A gift from Lord Mortis."

 

Aurora goes over and offers herself to help Luna up. She says, with both voices, "i feel your weakened strength. Let me be your brace, mother."

 

Night says, "Sombra's sorry attempt at true dark magic."

Crystal blinked, like nothing happened. "Evil thing?" he asked, his voice still having that no emotion tone. "Don't tell me the world is going mad, its just a book." Crystal said, now doing a slow blink like he was a turtle. As for the book, it fell down like it was useless, (And it was) or whatever was in it, had left and went to somewhere else.

"You passed out shortly after the book was open. Luna had me take you away so it didn't attach itself to you." Celestia switched, using a different spell to hopefully bring him back to his old self. "Do you remember anything?"

 

Luna sighed, looking up at them. "We are fine, everypony. Just a little weak from using all our magic."

 

Lunar wobbled, stopping. She clumsily walked back over to Steel, leaning on him so she'd stay up.

 

Seth's ears were still low. "A-are you sure? You could have taken in some of that darkness..."

 

Midnight watched Lunar, frowning. "Don't use up all your magic like that. She's fine. I can't see any difference in her aura."

Crystal blinked again, "Oh, No, where's the book now?" He said in more of an emotionless tone, if Crystal was under something, it sure was strong, and due to his purple cut had sealed up it seemed nearly impossible to get what was in his mind out. He got up, moving very slowly and dizzily walking into the room where the book was.

Celestia blinked, shutting the door with her magic before he could get out. "You aren't leaving until you are healed, Crystal. I don't know what is inside you, but whatever it is has got you in a funk." She continued to use her magic on him. Alicorn magic is 10x more powerful than any normal unicorn magic, so it was beginning to become easier for her to heal him.

"B..But I'm fine Celestia.. I just want to see the book, thats all. I'm just curious." Crystal replied, reopening the door. Whatever was in his mind was weakening, and it knew that. It had to get this poor little crystal pony to look on the page for full power, it had to hurry if it was able to follow his master's orders. Then, and only then, it could finally do what it always does. Then suddenly, Crystal broke into a dash down the hall, in a hurry to see the book.

Night says, "Still mortis sends his well wishes and this potion as a gift to you. He knows about Sombra and has asked me to aid you in taking care of him, as he put it. You know what we Void Lords are capable of. You also know he wouldn't send us if it was easy to...take care of. I hope me and my minions can serve you well, mother."

 

Aurora still offered Luna a helping wing to help her up. "Mother, our empathy is akin to strong emotion and your fatigue is just one that is An open book to us. We have and always shall protect our mother, no matter the cost to us."

Celestia caught him with her magic, lifting him up in the air. She summoned unbreakable chains, chaining him to the ground. "I SAID STAY PUT!" she rang out in her Canterlot voice. She kept working on healing him, whatever it was inside almost gone.

 

Luna took the potion, slowly and wobbily standing up. She leaned against the wall, panting a little.

"So... you want me to kill him while I have the chance... hm Princess Celestia?" Crystal said in another voice "I have that power you know, if you want me to I will kill this helpless crystal pony in seconds? What would it say on his gravestone I wonder, and killed weirdly from the inside of his head? Hm?" It looked around through Crystal's view, trying to find some why to break out. But, yet, It should kill this crystal pony while he had the chance, before he completely disappeared into another hiding spot.

Night says, "As I have said before. I am here to help with your Sombra problem. I pleadge mine and my minions services to you, mother. How is our Crystal Pony friend doing? I could have sworn I just heard Lady Celestia yell."

 

Aurora flinched at the sudden emotion c omming from Celestia. It felt of agitation, a mother's love and worry.

 

"Lady Celestia is upset about something. We can also detect the use of binding magic." Says Midnight Aurora with both voices.

Celestia blinked. She glared at him, crouching down. "Why are you here, Sobra?" she hissed out, her horn glowing black. "I have my own ways of pushing you out of him. I can shove you back to your hopeless empire without killing him, so I suggest you leave now, you tyrant."

 

Luna blinked, hearing her yell. She gasped, suddenly standing up. "Sister, no!" she cried out, using the last bit of her strength to snap her wings open and wizz out the door. -I can feel his presence! It's got to be him!- she thought, racing down the halls.

 

Lunar blinked, trying to follow her. She collapsed to the ground, to weak to move. She tried getting up, but couldn't.

 

Midnight ran out of the room, racing down the hall too. She knew something was up; Celestia NEVER raised her voice.

 

Seth blinked, watching them go. He then noticed Lunar, trotting over to her.

Suddenly without worning, Night bolts from the room right to Celestia's room. He bypasses the door stepping into the void to get in. He looks at the Crystal Pony and says, "You will do no such thing Sombra. Lord Mortis knows you to well. I would suggest you heed her. My hunters are on to you."

Chronos ran out of the room and watched as Luna flew down the hall. 'what is going on...' He thought as he ran down the hall towards Celestia's room. "Why did I have to be a unicorn" He said. The heavy armor slowing him down.

Crystal's head jerked, "'Tyrant?" He said with a chuckle," Is that what everyone calls me these days? Quite silly. What all of you need to understand is that I, rule the empire, which means every crystal pony belongs to me, and when someone doesn't let me fetch my poor and loyal crystal ponies well." Even though Crystal wasn't a unicorn, Sombra began making the chains shake, and slowly weakening them.

Celestia growled. "GET OUT NOW, YOU MONSTER!" Her horn shot out a purplish black magic, Sombra getting shoved out of Crystal and back to his castle. She then fainted. That spell used every bit of her magic to do. She collapsed to the ground, now unconscious.

 

Luna busted inside her room, noticing her on the ground and Crystal in chains. "Sister!" she gasped, landing beside her.
