SBaby 660 January 27, 2015 Share January 27, 2015 In the episode before that, there are a few lines of dialogue that imply that the laws of nature are different in Equestria than they are in the rest of the world. A Winner Is You!!!
Pastel 7,630 January 27, 2015 Share January 27, 2015 (edited) I think the snow melts naturally in their world too, but Winter Wrap Up is a tradition they want to respect. Edited January 27, 2015 by Blobulle
Dulset Tarn 441 January 28, 2015 Share January 28, 2015 I think the snow melts naturally in their world too, but Winter Wrap Up is a tradition they want to respect. Snow melts really slowly in our world, but for them it has to melt all in one day! They can't just let it melt where it is or it would flood the streets, farms, and hovels. Cwanky 17,588 January 28, 2015 Share January 28, 2015 Maybe its just because they simply can? I mean when you have the technological means to manipulate weather like Equestrians can, why not make the most of it? For one thing, it would probably make their crop season a bit longer, barring the biological limitations of crops. Its like asking why did humans decide to put people on the moon or create the internet? Simply perhaps because it was possible and worth trying out.
