These rather shady or distasteful ads are occasionaly displayed by most advertising networks. There's not much that can be done about them, other than perhaps opting for text ads only in Google AdSense.

Actually, no. I do get some advertisements like this even when signed in.

I'm going to repost the Admin instructions for hunting down the source tracking for adverts which assists staff in removing them. 

 

This is where we need your help, should your virus scanner pop up when visiting our site [or you see a questionable advertisement] could you please screenshot the adverts on the site and follow this guide to get all of the advert tracking urls and send them to us in a support ticket so we can reports these to AdSense to get rid of these malicious or [questionable] adverts and help keep the forums a safer place for everyone.

 

 

 

Without the tracking URL, there is not much we can do. This is one item that we actually need assistance for the people who notice this. If you see this again, please follow the advice here.

 

I will go ahead and close this for now as we are lacking specific information in which to act, however I will work on a pinned notice with directions that we can readily communicate to all.
