  1. Well, that finally happened. And boy, that reaction is even worse than anything I ever imagined, it almost seems like something out of a creepypasta. Honestly, sometimes it's hard for me to believe that this is the same franchise that just 10 years ago was like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNsJTkdq2Xo
  2. More detailed synopses have been published for the 3 specials:
  3. A lot of people really hate Starlight and are infuriated by any appearance she makes, personally my only grievance with Starlight is that I don't think she has received enough punishment for all the evil things she did, however I really look forwards to this special since I think having Starlight in this situation will finally be enough suffering to make up for it (in fact, back when the Season 5 finale aired I thought banishment-to-human-world would be a highly suitable sentence for Starlight, since it would make her suffer, neutralize her, and potentially allow for her to be reformed by the Humane 6/7. At least now she's actually going to get my favorite part of that sentence).
  4. Personally I'm just looking forward to seeing Starlight Glimmer in this same position, that will make it all worth it for me:
  5. Those highlights of the third special... 1. Sunset Shimmer goes back to Equestria. 2. Sunset Shimmer meets Starlight Glimmer. 3. Sunset Shimmer takes Starlight Glimmer to the human world. (And I'm calling it now, there's going to be a frame-by-frame reenactment of this scene.) And something else I thought about, how did human Rainbow Dash come to like the Daring Do books in the first place? Did she get into a car accident while trying to learn how to drive or something like that?
  6. Well, she did beat up give a massage to a bear, so I wouldn't be that surprised at her being good at sports. What would surprise me is Buckball being identical to (American) Football, and Fluttershy playing such an aggressive sport.
  7. The official synopsis for episodes 13 and 14 have been added. They are likely to begin airing from August 6, 2016.
  8. A list containing 6 episode titles was accidentally published by Zap2It on June 10, 2016. The list confirmed the titles for episodes 13-19. However, previously on May 25, 2016 a 4chan user had leaked a list with episodes 13-26, of which episodes 13-19 all match the recently confirmed titles. Another user had also published a list, however it only matched 5 of the titles. With that said, here is the presumed Season 6 episode list, with all the synopsis announced so far: So, what do you think about these episode titles?
  9. Well, it seems ponykind is doomed to become the next mass method of transportation and work for man. Who needs dumb horses, tractors, or automobiles (including self-driving or flying) when you can have that? Though I wonder what the automotive and tractor industry, their worker's unions, and SPCA, GreenPeace, PETA, WWF, and the NHTSA, IIHS and EuroNCAP, would have to say about it. (Seriously though, I wonder if this is canon? If so, it would change everything.)
  10. Maybe there should also be subforums for the different TV shows? Like The Movie/G1, Tales, G3/G3.5 and Newborn Cuties.
  11. We finally have the synopsis for the episode "No Second Prances": The episode airs next Saturday.
  12. Nope. Why would I? They are evolutively inferior in every way except for running away from things.
  13. Whoa, Apple Bloom underwent a midlife crisis. And so young! Glad she got over it relatively fast, and without too much psychological scarring
  14. Well, the synopsis of the episode right after S6E5 - Gauntlet of Fire hasn't been revealed, even though the ones for 2 episodes afterwards have been. Maybe S6E6 - No Second Prances is directly tied to the previous episode?
  15. I just hope it's not Spitfire and/or Soaring who insist on calling her that despite her objections, since that would just make them come across as childish.
  16. A Season 6 episode has been announced which apparently deals with this very topic.
  17. You're overanalyzing it. The globes are simply things the animators put there without second thought.
  18. Twilight's just asking for another attempt on her life by letting a known traitor stay in her castle. I wonder if she's suffering from Stockholm Syndrome?
  19. Apples and pears, one is a Walt Disney-Pixar cutesy kids movie, the other is a fanmade beat'em up videogame. Different things, different demographics. I haven't seen or played neither, by the way.
  20. I had another idea: What if Sunburst is the one who fixes Flurry Heart's mess? Maybe teaching Starlight a lesson in humility in the process?
  21. Mike Vogel, the guy at Hasbro who approves or rejects episodes (up until half of Season 6), and thus read all the scripts, recently confirmed in an interview that the premiere deals directly with the fact that Flurry Heart is an alicorn. So, this subject will definitely be addressed in the show.
  22. At the New York Toy Fair a battery-operated toy of Princess Flurry Heart was presented; the description said that she is able to perceive other ponies' emotions, and her horn glows different colors depending on them. So, she could likely have an ability in the show based on that.
  23. It's also technically the day Twilight defeated Starlight and her plan to change history and destroy Equestria in the process.
  24. Maybe hers was the barren wasteland. It's possible, considering the Alicorn Amulet's power.
  25. It was presented as an animatic from the show, so it's certainly going to be the plot of an episode. In fact, there were no toys of griffons with Cutie Marks shown at all.
