ExplosionMare 18,062 May 24, 2020 Share May 24, 2020 If it could actually prevent that person from dying for a really long time then I probably would. 2 Boom!

Yea, that should be a condition. Don't want to waste two lives here. And you would never know (unless you believe you would meet in the afterlife).
TotallyNotNyx 15,566 May 24, 2020 Share May 24, 2020 I might do a Loki and pretend to die. Then I can somehow save the person and then still be alive.
SparklingSquirrels 21,341 May 25, 2020 Share May 25, 2020 No I don’t think so, there’s still too much I want to do in this world first. Maybe once I was older and had already accomplished what I set out to do. ֍֎֍֎

Pastel Heart 6,466 July 7, 2020 Share July 7, 2020 Yes. Because they have a better chance of happiness without me than me without them. Though I'd prefer we'd both be the last left standing. ♡
Ixrec 86 July 7, 2020 Share July 7, 2020 The serious but boring answer is that I wouldn't realize I was in a situation where this choice applied until it was already too late to make a choice, even subconsciously. If we pretend this is a video game-like strict binary choice, where I somehow know with absolute certainty that exactly one of us is gonna be dead at the end, then my death would probably hurt them just as much as theirs hurts me, so both choices suck. But given realistic uncertainty about the outcome, then I certainly like to think I would risk life and limb to improve the chances of both of us surviving. No way to be sure unless it happens though...

ZiggWheelsManning 10,295 November 14, 2023 Share November 14, 2023 If I had a wife, I would die for her in the means of bringing our own children into this world. Special thanks to Emerald Heart for the banner!
