movies/tv Higurashi no naku koro ni fans?

any Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni fans here,

 

now i'm not just talking about the Gore fest that is Higurashi * that is a small bonus for me* 

 

what i am talking about is the Lore of the village, characters stories,interweaving plot, time loop and rika-chama the god.

as well as the psycho moments of laughter *the dub was pretty good in most places...others not so much* i have all seasons so i have the whole story~

 

 

the pacing of this series was spot on, the unique question/answer/resolution arc set up was pure awesome,

 

and the fact that this anime MAKES YOU think the entire time from start to end:

 

i had to watch the first season 3-5 times just to get what was going on because there was so many small details "in between the lines"  

 

had to watch the 2nd season 2 times *with a watch of the 1st* to peace everything as a whole 

 

and TBH satoko's death was by far the most just pure brutal death, (she is my fav character) :'(

 

any others share my love~!

I only seen the first Season because I have Breen busy to watch them all but it's a good anime

I loved everything about the anime, my love towards Rena, Shion, Mion, Rika, Satoko, heck even Keiichi are so great. (Oh and the hatred I feel for 34... I hate you 34... I really do!)

 

Anyway... I loved the storyline, for me it is the Anime for everything. Whatever genre you look for, Higurashi has it. Of course there are parts some people might not like but the variety and complexity of the anime is what makes it so great.

 

I thought the Rena/Keiichi battle on the roof was simply beautiful... oh and the soundtrack, the soundtrack is just so... I'm shaking writing this as the memories of a great animes flow through my mind... mhhhhhh I might actually go insane here. Watched it like 6 times and still love it.

 

Before I go fangirling even more, I'll just drop this one.

yes yes yes yes~!! i know right everything about this anime is just pure awesome a 4 seasons this is the perfect anime for all standards of everything as well as Madoka magika both perfectly paced extremely well thought out and HOOKING story

It's one of the best horror animes, I really love it.

It has a great story, great characters, and one of my favorite anime soundtracks ever. The atmosphere at times is just amazing, and the blood for once adds to the anime instead of being just there for pointless shock value. I'm looking at you, Corpse Party

I am LITERALLY just listening to this particular song. x'D I like how it makes me feel a little uneasy. It's a mix of hope and despair and that's what's great about it.

 

Since my choice has already been posted, I'll have to go with Dear You. :3

 

 

Another trivial thing I love about the anime, is how parts of the first intro has the same lyrics as part of the reversed second intro and likewise.
