general media Is it time for you to pick up more DVDs?

With My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Transformers Prime leaving Netflix, I think now may be a good time for me to start collecting more DVDs(All 4 seasons of My Little Pony, all 3 seasons of Transformers Prime to start).  And that's not the only thing I'll be picking up.  Other DVDs I plan on getting includes

 

1) Star Wars the Clone Wars(I have the first 3 seasons and I have 2 left to collect)

2) JEM(Another Hasbro series that's leaving Netflix)

3) My Little Pony G1(Since it's now on DVD again, now ist he time for me to get it)

4) Power Rangers(I already have Mighty Morphin to Lost Galaxy.)

5) Batman: The Brave and the Bold(While I have all of Batman: The Animated series, I wanna get this to complement Batman)

6) Animaniacs(Already own the first 3 volumes.)

7) Tiny Toons(Already own the first 2 volumes)

 

What about you all?  What DVDs do you plan on collecting?

I plan on getting the My Little Pony Tales DVD when it comes out, it's not a half-bad show actually plus it's every episode for like $15.

Pfft, DvDs? I work at a movie theater! Who cares about DvDs?

Well... I might get some eventually, but for now I don't care cause there's no movies I care about getting on DvD

I don't pick up DVDs. I rather rent them at the library or Netflix or try to watch whatever I want to watch online. Unless it's a film I really want to see more. But there's a list of films I haven't seen yet and want to see and renting is the best and cheapest option.

It's ALWAYS time for me to pick up more DVDs! I know several places to buy used discs. I always check what's in the $5 bin at Walmart, and I've got some very nice deals at Target, too. Just after Christmas, I bought the first four seasons of "Bewitched" for a total of $12, brand new!

Oh yes, I sure am. Since I don't have Netflix and am trying to stay away from torrents, I have to get DVDs instead. The most recent DVD I purchased is Spirited Away, and I'm planning to get more Studio Ghibli movies in the future.

I highly recommend "Kiki's Delivery Service" It's not only my favorite Ghibli movie, it's my all time favorite animated film from ANY studio!
