When they got to the palace, they were greeted by the queens servants, as he headed to his office, he saw a pony covered in splotches of paint exit the room, a camera was set up facing the inside of the room, upon looking in the duke saw that the walls were covered in highly detailed paintings of burning airships, these paintings covered every wall and even the celling, the queen then approached him "Oh hey your back! I hope you like what ive done with the place, it seemed so drab, love your new companion by the way" she tapped Sotox "Hope youve enjoyed life here, but now that Im here we need to get stuff done, get rest we ride for Clexto tommarrow.  Also by the way, your gaurd there" pointing to Lixus "She looks like shes going to collapse, better get her checked out!"

The paintins were clearly meant to remind hime that he was a foreigner... and not welcome here, yet he had t follow cutoms,

A Earth pony in a white robe approached. He carried a bag and wore round glasses. When he saw the queen he made a short bow before seeing Lixin,

"Oh, you must be... I'm doctor Frikstein, please lie down there darling."

The queen bounced up and down "oh oh oh! go in the room and pose at your desk, I wanna take a picture and send it to your king, let him know how your doing!" she pushed him into the room and behind his desk and flew over the camera that was set up "Now how to work this thing..."

The mayor as he walked to the guards noticed another group of ponies was going in already. I recognize the soldier in the lead as one of our own, but who is the other one? The guard received the mayor and allowed him access. The mayor nodded and returned to his guests. "They are ready to let us in, they seems to be another group heading inside so we don't have to wait for the gate to be lowered. I'm sure the Supreme Leader will see us shortly. Come come, there is no time to waste!"

The diplomats scurried after the mayor, not wanting to get left behind. "Another group? Are they here to see the Supreme Leader as well?"

 

"Hmm... That sounds fair and good deal to me and our nation ponies. If you can: Try to train some Earth ponies as well to sailors, just in case so they wouldn't feel to be discriminated. We are peaceful and equal small land, so we want to be as equal as possible to each other. But for example flying and with magic though... I am sure we can make exception, since they are mostly natural skills which possibly cannot be aquired any other way, unless being born as either one."

The Magi's eyebrows raised at the Emperor's request. "Well, the plan was to have just unicorns emigrate, as your country is devoid of unicorns, but if you want us to send you earth ponies, we shall honor your request."

The whole capital was in excitement. Ponies on the streets flying the Ponssian flag from their window while large crowds gathered to celebrate. The Kingdom of Ponssia was over, following the vast wesern conquest, the Ponssian Empire was proclaimed. Hundreds of thousands gathered arounf the main Cathedral as his majesty, King Ludwig the First was now crowned Emperor. The streets were full of blessings and nationalist screams, the anthem was played far and wide as the emperor, riding in his carriage waved at his subjects. Ponies desperately tried to touch him but were held back by the line of Royal guards. Ponssia was now at its highest, it had never reached to cover such great a landmass, the time of the Empire had begun.

The diplomats allowed themselves to be led to the next section of the city. Once there, they couldn't help but notice the large celebration. "What's going on? Is there some sort of holiday today?"

"Yes, your majesty. And i must mention, hes an emperor norw..." hes sat down at his desk, a clear expression of boredom was across his face.

 

 

"Right, now.. please tell me... when exactly did this start? Anything different that you did?"

The center was bustling, tall building were cramped together displaying thhe wonderful POnssian architecture. Most of the shops placed on the ground floor were all electrically lightened and so were the streets.

"His majesty has been proclaimed emperor. Our nation stretches so large that we are now an Empire!"

Salazaria looked at the camera "hmm...ah ha! here we go!" she took the picture, the flash taking her off guard "OH! ok..great! some pony take this and bring me back the photograph!" a servant walked over and grabbed the camera and walked away, the queen then approached the duke "I certainly hope you are enjoying your stay here"

 

Lixus coughed "Well, it started a few days after I returned from training, me and my squad had gone out into the desert, we were starved for several days, but some time after we got food a manticore attack so I slew it and ate its heart as apart of a ritual"

"Interesting..." he took out some medical instruments,, including a setoscope, he listened a bit. "Do you eaver feel... something tickly inside... alomst like something is moving?"

Lixus looked down "Well, um...yes..."

"With all due respect, your majesty, i doubt that would be necessary. I can easily ride one of my own mounts..."

 

"Well... i got bad news for you kid... you got a worm in you, moving around in your bowels... eating and doing its buisness. It must be removed... or else it might migrate out of your intestine... go to the heart, lungs brain... anywhere... it can prove fatal. I have only to possible remedies. You can either try some medication, tho judging y the sounds it is too large to be affected by them... or surgery, we'll have to cut you open and take them out. Now... i know how that sounds, but cutting ponies up to fix their insides is something common in hospitals back home.... your choice."

With the Empire proclamation, citizens now enthusiastically wished to help the empire expand and further it borrders. The South Tip, a portion of unhabited land  previously isolated from the rest of the world via miountainss was now open. Following heavy mining activities, the are was reachable in other ways than the sea. Citizens flocked south, wishing to spread POnssian influence throughout the land.

Ash-horn walked overt to the edge to look at the location. He also didn't know where they were. But he sated on deck just in case someone needed help. He let out a few puffs of smoke from his pipe and looked out on the land.

"Trap?" He laughed,"oh, no, no, no... The animal was as mich of a victim as you are. You see these... Parasites if i may call them... Need a host to survive, the moment an egg somehow enters the body, it would begin to feed. Usually they go straight for the lower digestive system, yet they migrate, sometimes reaching vital organs. I had a patient... Worm went right for his brain... Poor fellow. Anyway... You will see it in out soon."

As for being unofficial, there's not much more to it than that. I've been given my own unit to train how I see fit, which differs from all of our other military branches, but we've yet to be classified as our own. It's only a matter of time. If your kilt is that thing you're currently wearing, then no. If you want to hang with us, you've got to be in full uniform. Rules are rules. You will be using one of our long rifles since they are the most common firearm we manufacture."

"Oh come on, mate. The kilt  was worn the during many a battle back in the Highlands.  It's also the pride of my clan. Could you just make an exception just for today. I doubt everyone will get angry that you let me wear it. Considering most just think I'm wearing a "skirt"?" He said with an annoyed look.  "Also, I am not the best marksmen. Is there any hoof to hoof training? Or something with melee weapons? Cause that's what I'm best with."

@@Gloomfury, "You're asking me to let you be the exception to a rule put in place for disciplinary purposes because of pride? Listen here. Back home that might mean something, and I can respect that. But rules are rules, and we work primarily with rifles. So if you want to come along with us, or ever want to get your hooves on one, then you better put on that uniform. And you can't get better unless you practice. We have hoof to hoof training but somepony will end up having to go to the hospital if not both. We teach only to kill, not maim, so holding back is not allowed. Same goes for melee weapons. When we take a brake at our halfway point, you might be able to duel with some soldiers with sticks."

Fit's sighed. "Fine, I'll wear the blasted thing. But when I don't wear it I get a little uncomfortable. And in turn I don't act like myself. But I'm sure it wouldn't worry you." He started changing in the carriage. It didn't take him long to take off his kilt and put it in his bag, along with his flat cap and shirt. Now instead of his smile he had a slight frown. "And it's funny. We're trained to kill as well. But with a little more malice. But we are also trained to have control so we can hold back or put more into if we wanted to. 

 

And I ain't fought with sticks since I was a lad. So do I also have to use one from someones ares, cause it seems like everyone hear has one." He gave a dry chuckle.
