"Well... the Queen must send a request for an embassy, which must be accepted. Next she could request it being located in Hoofsburg, though that would make it hard to actually use the embassy the way its supposed to be used. After that, you can become the ambsador with minimal papaerwork... what? I have no idea what your talking about... I just asked... something..."

But just know if I get the job or not, and I dont get any notifications from that town, the queens little secret organization of spies will still deliver information on them to her, and then she will deal with it as she sees fit"

"well usually embassies are in the capital, to ensure that communication between the central goverment and the foreign goverment is fast. I dont think you realized that Her Majesty hasnt got any juristiction there either. As that city is no longer part of her domain."

Hommit shook his head "You havent known the queen very long, look im going to tell you a story, I heard this from a guard that accompanied her, when she was negotiating with your people so they wouldnt blow us up, she asked for an apology from them, saying "If you guys just turn around and leave we can completely forget that this happened" Im risking my self saying this, because I know im being watched, but the queen isnt exactly the most mentally sane pony around, shes a little crazy, if her spies think trouble is ahoof there, she will not hesitate to mount up on a manticore and walk over to there herself"

"Even if she goes there... what i mean is that there is absoloutely no way to enforce what she wants. So it doesnt matter if they think its wrong or not... theres just nothing she can do except trying to negotiate. But as you may have seen, those in govermental positions arent that keen on negotiating."

"She doesnt take no very well...From what I heard from the guard, he could tell she wanted pummel that sea captain into a pulp, and um, dont tell her I said this, but just seeing the look in her eye, every time she looked at you she just saw a body quivering on the floor with blood flowing out of your neck...shes very scary when things dont go her way"

"Well, good thing she didnt... they wouldve blown her out of the water if she did. Her anger is understandable as we kinda came over. But tell me, if you saw an important position guarded by a bare minimum of ill-armed troops, by our standards that is... and really needed that land... wouldnt you have done the same? Thing is what happened happened, and in order for things to look up in the future, she has to put tht aside."

 Meanwhile Malachi just had a meeting with the other Dons about his meetings with the other leaders as well as the ambassador. They were glad to finally be able to set of trade routes again.  After the meeting Malachi went back to his home and started packing for his journey to Texano. 

 

When he was done with that he started picking out who to come with him.  He narrowed it down to three of his old crew from when he was just a Capo back in Manehattan.

 

The first one was a stallion by the name of Tungsten. He wasn't very tall or very muscular looking. But his hooves were very fast and felt like they were made out of tungsten, mostly considering he custom made brass hooves made of tungsten. He wore a black bandanna over his head  with a pattern of silver zigzags. His fur  was silver while his mane was black. But he had green eyes. He also wore a black dress shirt with a dark silver vest.

 

The second was a mare named Gazania. She was a beautiful mare with a long straight orange mane and tail. Her fur was a light pinkish red . She wore a black eye patch over her left eye and glasses. Her good eye was a light purple. She also had on a black site jacket and a white dress shirt.  Even though she had one eye she was master markspony with anything with a blade. From knives to axes. She was also a good sniper. 

 

The last was another stallion named Ash horn. He was a very large and strong looking stallion. He was like a Minotaur turned into a pony but kept his strength. He carried a huge sledgehammer too big for a normal pony to pick up. His mane was an ash black and short while his fur was a dark brown  He wore dark green newsboy hat. 

 

The next day all of them head for the docks to meet at the ambassadors ship. Instead of his suite, Malachi was wearing a dark tan newsboy cap and a red Hawaiian shirt with a gray wife beater under it. He had his suit case on his back and carring his steel bad on his shoulder.

Flits walked to up to the mare at the front desk like last time and gave her another charming smile. "Good afternoon, darlin'. By any chance could I talk to someone who might know where I might be able to train or have a spare? Cause I'm betting that I'll be allowd to train with some  of the troops at their training base."

Blost seeing the Don in a Hawaiian shirt walked over to the rails of the ship and yells, "Well, the trip might be relaxing but the capital ain't near any white sandy beaches, and I've see you brought friends please come aboard and set your selves to a cabin." Blost turn and said to the ship's crew, "Lower the gangplank we have travelers."

The captain approached the guards and handed them a letter. The letter was from the other day when they were told to go to the capital. The guards looked over the letter and motioned the others to pass through. The massive gate opened to reveal a large moat. A massive bridge was lowered to allow the group to enter. 

 

"This is magnificent. Even more impressive than the stories we have been told since I was a foal," the captain said in awe.

"You are very much welcome," the mayor replied as the group walked along the upper class district of the city. the wealthy unicorns along their path looked in curiousity of the new ponies. The mayor said hello to various ponies as they walked towards the fortress.

 

The group soon arrived at the main gate as it was closing. "It looks like we are not the only ponies that are seeing the Supreme Leader today. I will be just a moment, just need to speak to the guards to let us in." The mayor walked to the guards to organize their entry.

 An orderly rushed through the door of Defiant's chambers. "Glorious Leader! We have reports of more revolts on the border of the Great Forest! Three mines are shut down and we have lost several spies."

 

"Another revolt? I have no time for this! I have meetings with a couple diplomats today, and I don't need them to know of this unrest. Send in a several divisions to handle this uprising. Two elites as well. I also want no prisoners. Any pony caught revolting is to be executed on the spot. Now are my body doubles ready to receive my company?"

 

"Orders shall be relayed Supreme Leader. And yes, the body doubles are waiting in the chambers nearby, ready for the mind control spell. I have received word the the Ponssian ambassador has arrived and is crossing the moat now."

 

"Good. Let me know when the Medeis diplomats arrive."

They all walked on bored. Malachi chuckled as we walked over to Blost. " I'm sure, but this is just my casual wear.  I like to think this as a vacation slash business trip. But I still brought along a few friends as guards, just in case. This is Tungsten," He said pointing at the stallion with the bandanna on his head and the tungsten hooves. Who gave Blost a quite nod.

 

"Ash-horn," Then he pointed at the very large stallion. Who gave a friendly smile and wave at the ambassador. 

 

"And Gazania." He pointed at the beautiful mare with the eye patch. She gave Blots a charming smile and look.

"Hmm... Then: I'll leave the colony prepares to you. I don't have any kind of experience of making colonies and I still doubt this colony idea, but because its for yours own good, I cannot say no either."

 

"We have already gems and we do not need stones... I don't know yet what material we shall trade with you or what we could give to you... Do you know anything for our land?"

"Thank you for your support. We already have a location in mind where the colony should go. If you ever want to drop by and see it for yourself, feel free to do so."

 

"I am afraid I do not know much about your land, as none of our ponies have ever been here before. I am unfamiliar with what kinds of resources this land has." 

 

 

This was an odd request, but nothing that wasnt usually done. It was a custom to show around the capital to show off the power of the Empire. Another horse-drawn carriage, bearing two guards and a guide was brought forth for the diplomats. They were firstly driven, as usual, to the west of the city. The area was full of giant factories, employing hundreds of thousands of workers. The sun was almost invisible through the enormous amount of smoke that covered sky. The temperature was a lot higher than in the rest of the city as this was the biggest industrial sector in the west.

"Forgive me, but do you know where all this smoke is coming from? Our land is sometimes blanketed by clouds of volcanic ash blown in from from the east, but I was unaware of any volcanoes in this land..."

Blost smiled and nodded as the don listed everyone he brought with him, then after the don was finished said,"Thank you for joining us, and for accepting to come our lands,keep in mind we are farmers (cue the commercial jk), so do not be surprised to see empty fields, we just haverseted not but 2 weeks ago so now farmers are replanting their seeds and watering the land so the soil does not turn to dust, now find a cabin and we will begin our trip shortly."  , Blost says escorting them to the upper quarters of the ship.

 Tungsten claimed a small cabin and lied down to take a nap. Ash-horn got one of the bigger rooms and took a seat on the bed while pulling out a stack of books from his saddle bags. Malachi and Gazania kept walking with Blost even though Gazania picked her cabin. "My grandfather has a farm out near the mountains. I sometimes help him when his age catches up to him." She said with a light giggle. "So how many acres do you have meant for farming?"

"That depends on the farmer himself, I know a friend who is part of a collection of farmers who work a 642 acre farm, its a large farm so they hire a lot of locals to help farm during the harvest session, other farms can be 45 to 90 acres it all depends on the farmer and how much he wants to earn and eat that year, with our vast farmlands we harvest a lot but don't sell a lot to out side countrys so natural  that we make what's left over into different kinds of food, we have over 300 different types of bread, you can image why were wanting to sell it all, besides that we use wood to build our ships and house and it ain't weak wood, even a small shack can bounce 1 or 2 cannon ball shots before falling in on itself." Blost says walking with the group "You'l be the first of hopefully many vistors and tourist to our land, we are very cultured on farming and our history, from war to peace is all about farming and cutting, when we explore our frontiers many homesteader look for good farming land to start out, and grow as the gain more food, but our tech is old fashion by now I believe and we will be looking for better farm equipment to harvest and grow more crops, but the president and council could get more into that than I can."

@@Gloomfury, The mare smiled back. "Sure, just a moment please." She ducked beneath the desk and pulled out two folders and flipped through them. "Those whom are not enlisted in Abendstern's military are not permitted to enter Abendstern military bases, however some of the training takes place outside of them and I'm unsure whether this rule is applied to areas with activity." She calls forward one of the guards in the palace and asks. He informs her that he is also unsure, but if a civilian were escorted by a officer willing officer, there'd probably be no issue. She gave her attention back to Flits. "If you'd like, I can call one here for you, and you can go along with him if he's alright with it."

 

@@Derplight Sperkle, There were two sides to the revolt. The older workers thought that bringing down the regime was impossible, and sought only for change, doing so with violence since actions were louder than their ignored/suppressed words. On sight of the mass of soldiers coming their way, some workers waited at the entrances of the mines, waiting for them to be within range of their traps, which once passed they could retreat into the tunnels, taking away the soldier's advantage of numbers in close quarters, and some in various places ready to charge head on, while those who thought the best thing to do was some serious damage, hijacked a mining locomotive, and headed for the capital. There were also some who rushed to their nearby towns, and urged everypony to flee for the border to safety.

 

@Skullbuster, @SilentFlight, From atop the Nightingale, the Kaiser could now not only appreciate the view of the see, but a familiar sphere formation consisting of pegasi which took a turn towards him. He ordered the airships to be rested upon the nearest cloud for concealment and so forth. Above the cloud layer, the Kaiser met with the formation, which broke away to make way for Blackfire. "Wasn't expecting you to make another visit so soon." she called out while landing. "Neither was I," he said. "We've hit a little snag that concerns a nation south of you which was recently invaded. We'll discuss details upon arrival to them. If that's where you're headed of course." "Yes, they've been waiting on me for a while now. I've been busy keeping those damn earth ponies of Dominion in line. I even got attacked by some! How dare they leave a scar on their new leader!" she said somewhat angrily. The Kaiser smiled and nodded. From what little news I've been able to get a hold of, I've heard you had great success on your campaign. Shall we discuss it over a bottle of whine? A gift from the Griffon Emperor himself." He said. Her mood saw an immediate shift. "You sir, speak my language." They got on board one of their carts and made their way to the treasure fleet inside the formation which had doubled in numbers with bat ponies contributing to it. They expressed their arrival by firing some small rockets from the soon empty bottle. Helm hearing them went to investigate, and upon seeing what the cause of the commotion was, spoke to Kaiser alone momentarily, fulfilling him on what had been discussed, while Blackfire went inside. "Break out more booze, because the party has only just started!" she yelled before receiving some cheers. She took a step and stumbled but caught herself and adjusted her uniform. She looked around and then headed for the table. The captain and adviser stood up in respect as she took her seat. "You're the one who wanted to meet me right?" she asked the queen.

@Skullbuster, Blackfire leaned back in the chair and and to herself. "Hmmm,,, nope. I've only met the Kaiser and some soldiers from the Dominion, so we don't really know anyone yet." Her eyes widened as she looked around at the decor. "Wow, that's a lot of gold." A dozen of her soldiers and the Kaisers came in with several bottles and a barrel of liquor. She whistled, and one of them tossed a bottle. She caught it, ripped the cork out, and drank straight from it. "Ah, gotta love the spoils of war. Oh, I'm Blackfire by the way.
