I have a question for you guys and girls.

Tough one, I think in the long run you need to love yourself, I mean I would be happier that way. Sure people would hate you but if you're the type that doesn't mind being alone, then you're good. Still a hard question.

Love myself and be hated by everyone else. If i can't love myself, no amount of outside affection will feel warranted anyway. As for being hated by everyone else... it's no happy existence, but it's one that i can manage.

I'm going to decide with the love yourself option. Hating ones self, regardless of how many individuals love you, in my opinion, is counterproductive to living. Everything you know and understand is because your body and your brain cooperate with each other and you wake up in the morning. You are the home front, the base of operations to the rest of your life. If you crumble and hate yourself (or in this case of the question you have no choice if you hate yourself), what good is experiencing life? and I mean really experience it not just existing. I love myself and I believe that is important to living life. I am happy and with each other individual who becomes my friend or loves me, my life gets better. However I must conform to the question right! I would love myself, strengthen myself because of it and live life dealing with (if need be) those who inherently hate me. I'd be just fine with that.  :squee:

To what extent do these conditions apply?

If I choose to love myself but be hated by everyone else, is this effective literally? Will I not be able to order a meal without the cook spitting in it or the cashier unfairly overcharging me? Will I lose my job and then always fail at getting another because my potential employer can't stand to have me on the team? Will I not even have the ability to talk to people online, because they'll always be inclined to hate me? Would my parents, family, and friends disown me?

If so, it seems like it'd hardly leave me able to be happy. Even though if under this circumstance it can be assumed I would still always be happy.

You're thinking too literally lol

The people who know who you are hate you, not random cashiers or chefs :P

but if you were to try to befriend a chef or cashier, they would hate who you are.

Does this makes it easier?

This is a tricky question since there are viable arguments for both answears..

If i love myself and get hated: Its easier to change other peoples opinion about you then it is to change yours about yourself, at least for me. Basicly what im saying is that you can just change your ways towards other people and maybe be more positive, and thats easy if you love yourself :)

If you are happy with hating yourself, doesn't that mean you don't truly hate yourself?

and

how do you know nobody thinks you're funny? and is that such a big deal anyways?

I'm not happy with hating myself, I'm ok with it. Also, just like Pinkie, I feel great when people laugh at my humor, though it's one of the only ways to feel good and the things I think is funny nobody else does.

I'd probably go with hating myself. What good is it to like yourself when no one else does?  You'd just spend all of your time being full of yourself.  Besides, I've never been particularly fond of myself, anyways.

I'd rather hate myself and be loved . I can't seriously hate myself that much, could I?

I already hate myself, so I would choose to hate myself and have everyone else love me. Wolfie is the only person who actually cares about me, so it'd be great if I could have other people care about me as well.

:(

Hate yourself but be loved by everyone else?

I wouldn't last for long if the people around me, my friends and my family included, hated my guts.

So in other words: Blue pill or blue pill?

I pick "Hate myself but be loved by everyone." At least that way my existence won't leave a negative impact on the world, whatever it may be.
